    摘要: Laser emission systems for surgical and other therapeutic uses are herein disclosed. In the preferred embodiments, different laser control systems are disclosed each capable of multiple, simultaneous emission of lasers of different wavelengths in a single beam. The embodiments feature a handheld wireless laser module or a portable console with a laser tip extending therefrom. The laser module is controlled by wireless footswitch. Fiber extension modules may be used with the later embodiment.

In particular, implementations of the present invention provide a package for items with a gummy surface that does not require a separate liner to be placed on the gummy surface. In example implementations, the package includes inadhesive polymers such that the item can be removeably adhered to a portion of the package. Moreover, example embodiments of the present invention provide packaging devices, systems, and methods that allow an item with a gummy surface to be packaged without any part of the package interfacing with the gummy surface.

    摘要: The present invention is a through-hole LED light source with capability of emitting a beam angle of less than 75 degrees. The light source presents a three-dimensional lead frame with a well, into which at least one LED is mounted, and an optical housing which serves as a directional lens. Through adjustment of the housing and lead well properties, beam angle is adjusted to any angle. The frame is three-dimensional, preferably cylindrical, with both inner and outer portions, electrically isolated. The inner portion serves as the mounting area for the LEDs (and contains the well) and the LED serves as the electrical conduit between the portions, completing a circuit an illuminating the LED.

    摘要: A delivery tip for flowable materials with bristles extending therefrom. The tip is a cannula with a tapered outlet and features a bristle bundle with a binding disk that interfaces with the cannula at some point within the cannula but has a smaller cross-section than the cannula at that point. The bristle bundle then extends out of the tapered outlet. The delivery tip is connected to a material reservoir with flowable material. When positive pressure is applied to the reservoir, material then will flow through the cannula, around the disk, into the bristles and out the outlet for distribution to a desired surface.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for destroying cancerous cells or tumors includes placing fiber needles into the human body adjacent cancerous cells or tumors that have been biologically stained and exposing the cells or tumors to low-energy laser energy light emitted through the fiber needles so that the laser energy destroys the cancer cells or tumors through carbonization and/or vaporization without destruction of surrounding healthy tissue. The stain is specifically selected to have an absorption efficiency of greater than 90% for energy emitted by a given laser such that it greatly enhances absorption of the laser energy over surrounding unstained tissue. Appropriate stain and laser selection can allow treatment through an intact column of living tissue as laser energy to which living tissue is transparent may be used in combination with a stain that makes targeted tissue opaque to that energy.

    摘要: Laser emission systems for surgical and other therapeutic uses are herein disclosed. In the preferred embodiments, different laser control systems are disclosed and disposable tips and fiber with a unique connection structure are utilized. By being disposable, the tips are manufactured to minimize material loss while also providing the confidence patients desire for their health which comes from knowing the tips are sterile. One end of the fiber is encased in a ferrule, which provides the permanent connection. A lens structure may also be utilized to focus laser light as it passes from a waveguide into the tip. The laser generation module may emit laser light in multiple wavelengths simultaneously and may also feature remote operation.
