The system and method includes providing a first logical communication channel between a first chat client and a second chat client, the first logical channel conveying text chat messages between the first chat client and the second chat client; providing a second logical communication channel between the first chat client and the second chat client, the second logical channel conveying text chat command/control information between the first chat client and the second chat client; and using the chat command/control information to modify a 3D chat scene displayed on each of the first chat client and the second chat client systems.

    摘要: Systems and methods for identifying musical sounds are provided. In one implementation, a method includes receiving a collection of sound identifiers. Each sound identifier in the collection identifies a sound. Each sound identifier is associated with a corresponding audio representation. The collection of sound identifiers is used to construct a hierarchy of sound identifiers where each sound identifier appears only once in the hierarchy of sound identifiers. The hierarchy of sound identifiers is arranged according to a musical similarity between the sounds identified by the collection of sound identifiers. A selection of a first sound identifier is received. The first audio representation corresponding to the first sound identified by the first sound identifier is unavailable. The second sound identifier identifies a second sound that is musically similar to the first sound identified by the first sound identifier. An available second audio representation corresponding to a second sound identifier is provided.

    摘要: An apparatus for a continuous encapsulation process is provided. The apparatus is a vibrating tubing used alone, in series, or in combination with an encapsulation apparatus, which is used alone or in series. The vibrating tubing is a flat coil, a standing spiral, or a flume. The encapsulation apparatus includes a winding having coils disposed in an aqueous gelling solution. The winding is rotatable about its longitudinal center axis. The winding has adjacently spaced coils forming a plurality of chambers. Objects to be encapsulated are added to the apparatus such that when the winding is rotated, the chambers transport a volume of objects through the length winding in the aqueous gelling solution in a predetermined time.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and computer program products for MLU replication, storage, and retrieval in a RAID environment are disclosed. According to one method, a data storage extent pool representing a portion of a RAID array is provisioned. A replica vault including a second data storage extent pool and representing a portion of a RAID array is provisioned. An MLU for allocating data storage extents from the data storage extent pool is created and, in response to a data write operation, a data storage extent from the data storage extent pool is allocated and data associated with the data write operation is stored in the data storage extent. The MLU is replicated to create a second MLU by allocating a second data storage extent in the second data storage extent pool in the replica vault and copying data stored in the data storage extent to the second data storage extent.

    摘要: A system for producing a crystal formed from a material with impurities has a crucible for containing the material. The crucible has, among other things, a crystal region for forming the crystal, an introduction region for receiving the material, and a removal region for removing a portion of the material. The crucible is configured to produce a generally one directional flow of the material (in liquid form) from the introduction region toward the removal region. This generally one directional flow causes the removal region to have a higher concentration of impurities than the introduction region.
