摘要: In a telecommunications network (1), a signal transfer point (10) receives an Initial Address Message (IAM) generated by an originating service switching point (12) according to a call from an originating subscriber (20). The IAM includes a destination number associated with a destination subscriber (22). If the destination number has not been ported, the signal transfer point (10) sends a return message to the originating service switching point (12) indicating that no changes are to be made to the IAM. As a result, the originating service switching point (12) forwards the IAM to a destination service switching point (13) for processing of the call. If the destination number has been ported, the signal transfer point (10) performs a local number portability look-up in a database (24). The signal transfer point (10) obtains a redirection number from the database (24) for transfer in a return message to the originating service switching point (16). The originating service switching point (12) includes the redirection number in the IAM message transferred to the destination service switching point (13).

摘要: Crystalline aluminophosphates and related compounds having in the as-synthesized anhydrous form the chemical composition mR(X.sub.n Al.sub.q P.sub.x)O.sub.2, wherein R represents 1,4-diaminobutane as defined hereinbefore, X represents one or more elements which can be substituted for Al and/or P, whereinm=0-0.33n=0-0.40q=0.30-0.60x=0.30-0.60and wherein n+q+x=1 and having an X-ray diffraction pattern containing at least the lines as given in Table A, B, C, D, E or F.The compounds can be prepared from a forming solution or gel comprising a source of alumina, a source of phosphorus, 1,4-diaminobutane and optionally a source of at least one component X wherein the various sources are present in certain specified molar ratios, by keeping the solution or gel at elevated temperature for a time sufficient to produce crystalline aluminophosphates or related compounds.

摘要: A general purpose pattern recognition method and apparatus comprises a hierarchical network of basic recognizers, each basic recognizer being capable of discriminating a particular feature at a lower level and providing outputs for higher levels of abstraction. In a learning mode, a series of sample patterns having a feature are presented as input along with several near-miss patterns. The pattern recognition apparatus learns to recognize the feature by keeping track of which basic recognizers detect patterns containing the feature. In a recognition mode, the invention determines if a presented pattern has the feature by polling the basic recognizers. A summation algorithm calculates the likelihood that the presented pattern has a particular feature.
