Abstract:
A method of operating a drive-train of a hybrid vehicle which comprises at least a hybrid drive with an internal combustion engine and an electric machine, an automatic or automated change-speed transmission connected between the hybrid drive and a drive output, and a clutch connected between the internal combustion engine and the electric machine. When starting the internal combustion engine from a purely electric driving mode, the clutch is initially disengaged. To start the internal combustion engine, the clutch is at least partially engaged and the internal combustion engine is drag-started by the electric machine, and, in parallel with starting the internal combustion engine, a downshift in the transmission is initiated once a rotational speed of the internal combustion engine reaches or exceeds an applicable threshold value.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a vehicles drivetrain including an engine and automatic transmission, such that transmission ratios are shifted within a range of transmission ratios in a continuous and/or stepped manner as function of preset target speeds that are adjustable via a vehicle speed control and actual vehicle inclinations in relation to the vehicles longitudinal axis. When the actual speed of the vehicle differs from a preset threshold speed, a request to change an actual ratio of the transmission is generated, if it has been determined that the output torque is smaller than a threshold value or an output torque required to adjust the preset threshold speed of the vehicle. The ratio of the transmission is shifted so the torque applied to the output is modified toward the output torque required to adjust the threshold speed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and device for reproducing sound from a first input audio signal (1) using a plurality of first loudspeakers (4) and producing a target binaural impression to a listener (6) within a listening area (55). In order to decrease the sensibility of the reproduction of sound to the environment acoustics and to simplify the adaptation of the reproduced sound to the listener's head orientation and position, it is proposed to first define a plurality of second virtual loudspeakers (49) positioned outside of the listening area (55), then to estimate a transfer function (17) between each second virtual loudspeaker (49) and the listener's ears (7a and 7b), to compute from the estimated transfer functions (17) transaural filters (2) that modify the said first input audio signal (1) to synthesize second audio input signals (30) and to synthesize input signals (3) from second audio input signals (30) for creating a synthesized wave field (34) by the said first loudspeakers (4) that appears, within the listening area (55), to be emitted by the plurality of second virtual loudspeakers (49) as a plurality of wave fronts (50) in order to reproduce the target binaural impression at the ears of the listener (7a and 7b).

Abstract:
A method and a device for sound field reproduction from a first audio input signal uses a plurality of loudspeakers for synthesizing a sound field within a preferred listening area in which none of the loudspeakers are located and therefore described as emanating from a virtual source. The method further includes the steps of calculating a plurality of positioning filter coefficients using virtual source description data and loudspeaker description data according to a sound field reproduction technique; and modifying the first audio input signal using the positioning filter coefficients to form second audio input signals. A loudspeaker ranking of the importance of each loudspeaker for the synthesis of the sound field within the preferred listening area is therefore defined. Then, second audio input signals are modified according to the loudspeaker ranking to form third audio input signals. Finally, the loudspeakers are alimented with the third audio input signals which synthesize a sound field.

The invention relates to a method and a device for sound field reproduction from a first audio input signal (1) using a plurality of loudspeakers (2) aiming at synthesizing a sound field within a preferred listening area (6) in which none of the loudspeakers (2) are located, said being described as emanating from a virtual source (5). The method further comprises steps of calculating a plurality of positioning filters (7) using virtual source description data (8) and loudspeaker description data (9) according to a sound field reproduction technique, and modifying the first audio input signal (1) using the positioning filter coefficients (7) to form second audio input signals (3). Therefore, a loudspeaker ranking (11) of the importance of each loudspeaker (2) for the synthesis of the sound field within the preferred listening area (6) is defined. Then, second audio input signals (6) are modified according to the loudspeaker ranking (11) to form third audio input signals (12). Finally, the loudspeakers (2) are fed with the third audio input signals (12) which synthesize a sound field (3).
