    摘要: Techniques are described that allow a network device, such as a router, to forward data packets received from a subscriber device to an Ethernet virtual local area network (VLAN) interface within the network device where the VLAN interface has been dynamically built based on a subscriber information string. For example, a primary VLAN sub-interface (PVS) and a subscriber VLAN sub-interface (SVS) may each be dynamically built over a statically built VLAN major interface. In particular, the network device comprises a forwarding controller, where the forwarding controller receives a data packet over an Ethernet port. The network device accesses upper-layer protocol information within the data packet to determine an SVS within the network device to which to forward the data packet based on the upper-layer protocol information.

    摘要: Adjustable reverse shoulder prostheses are disclosed herein. A glenoid assembly includes a glenoid plate configured for fixation to a glenoid bone for a reverse shoulder prosthesis; a glenosphere configured for connection to the glenoid plate; and an adjustment plate, wherein the adjustment plate has a connection for directly engaging the glenosphere, and wherein the adjustment plate has an articulation for directly engaging the glenoid plate at a variable angular orientation. During a reverse total shoulder arthroplasty method, a glenoid plate is fixated to a glenoid bone; an adjustment plate, configured for interfacing with both the glenoid plate and a glenosphere, is locked to the glenoid plate, wherein the adjustment plate is configured for angular orientation or positional change relative to the glenoid plate; a glenosphere is connected to the adjustment plate; and an angular orientation and position of the glenosphere relative to the fixated glenoid plate is independently adjusted.

    摘要: Common handheld transceivers operating on different frequencies with differing protocols can be provided with a mini module attached to the handheld transceiver that not only converts the audio information available from the handheld to the format and frequency of the temporary incident area network, the mini module also provides a sensor platform coupled to a wide variety of sensors whose data gathering capabilities in the vicinity of the individual are used to provide an incident commander or other individuals at nodes on the network with data to ascertain the conditions at the incident scene in the vicinity of the individual. Thus not only can information pertaining to the immediate health of and danger to emergency personnel be ascertained quickly, the transmission of sensor and image data over the same network provides situational awareness for the incident commanders and indeed for all those coupled to nodes on the network.
