    摘要: A laser ribbon bond pad array connector is disclosed for electrically connecting a RF module to an IMD circuit board in an implantable medical device. The array connector includes a connector body with a plurality of electrically isolated bonding fingers embedded in the connector body. Each bonding finger includes a solder pad that is on a first surface of the connector body and a laser ribbon bond pad that is on a second surface of the connector body. The first and second surfaces are spaced apart in angular relations thereof.

    摘要: A traveler track is provided for supporting the sail of a sailboat, and is itself supported by a plurality of lugs which are received in a rearwardly facing groove in the mast, which would normally receive the boltrope of the sail. The lugs are slidable in the groove during installation, and are loosely secured by threaded fasteners at spaced locations to the track sections. Successive sections are installed by pushing up previous sections loosely installed in the groove. After all sections have been installed, the threaded fasteners are tightened to place tension between the track and the portion of the lug engaged in the groove.

    摘要: An electrical interface includes a contact surface and a connector structure supporting the contact surface for electrical coupling with an electrical contact of a medical device, which device is contained within a package. The electrical interface facilitates coupling of the electrical contact of the packaged medical device to an electrical contact of another medical device, which is located outside the package. If the electrical contact of the packaged device is mounted within a bore of the device, then the connector structure allows for passage of a sterilizing gas into the connector bore, and past the connector contact, within the bore.

    摘要: A respirator mask seal and shell are provided according to one embodiment of the invention. The respirator mask seal and shell includes a mask shell having a face opening, a slot for air passage, and at least one attachment portion spaced around the face opening. They also include a movable interface having a hose connector and a contoured opening adapted to fit against the mask shell. The contoured opening is slidable over the slot and is capable of being positioned on the mask shell. The mask seal has a flexible sidewall having distal and proximal ends and includes a rounded outer seal portion located on the distal end of the sidewall, a rounded inner seal portion located between the distal and proximal ends, and a support ring embedded in the sidewall. The inner seal portion is thicker than the outer seal portion and is non-continuous. The support ring includes at least one attachment portion adapted to engage the at least one attachment portion of the mask shell. The mask seal is capable of being removably affixed to the mask shell. The movable interface is capable of being positionally adjusted on the mask shell and the mask seal is capable of being inwardly deformed by contact with a face region of the user.

    摘要: A toilet conversion kit for toilets of various shapes, the kit having a base which can stand on the floor around a soil pipe and an upper surface for supporting the toilet, and having first and second end wall profiles. An elongated axial opening extends from a point adjacent one end, for a distance along the length of the base, and can register with the soil pipe. There are a plurality of fastening openings in, the base alongside either side of the opening. A soil pipe extension separate from the base, defines a generally tubular shape having upper and lower ends, a soil pipe connection at its lower end, a toilet connection member at its upper end, and fastenings formed with the upper end of which can be fastened to the fastenings of the base. The upper end of the extensions interfits with the elongated opening in the base. In this way the soil pipe extension may be moved along the length of the opening, and fastened to the base at selected locations therealong, so that the toilet conversion kit can be used with a wide variety of a different toilet appliance designs, with one end profile of the base conforming as closely as possible to the shape of the stand of the toilet appliance.

    摘要: Improved telemetry antennas and methods of fabrication for an implantable medical device (IMD) for use in uplink telemetry (UT) and downlink telemetry (DT) transmissions between the IMD and an external medical device (EMD) are disclosed. A first telemetry antenna element is supported to extend in a first direction along a minor side of the IMD housing by a first header segment, and a second antenna element is supported to extend in a second direction along a second minor side of the IMD housing by a second header segment. The first and second antenna elements are supported to extend apart at substantially 90° to one another, i.e., substantially orthogonally, in substantially a common plane to optimize UT transmission and DT reception of UHF telemetry signals by at least one of the first and second antenna elements depending upon the mutual spatial orientation with the antenna elements of an EMD antenna.

    摘要: An RF antenna flexible circuit interconnect is disclosed with unique micro connectors. The RF antenna flexible circuit interconnect further includes a planer flexible body having an embedded RF transmission line with a first end and a second end. A first antenna micro connector is electrically coupled to the first end of the RF transmission line and a second antenna micro connector is electrically coupled to the second end of the RF transmission line. Each of the first and second antenna micro connectors include an antenna micro connector housing and an antenna central contact socket securely positioned within the antenna micro connector housing. The antenna central contact socket may also include inward bending fingers and may be designed to engage a pin that is inserted into the central contact socket.
