    摘要: One embodiment relates to a low intermediate frequency (IF) receiver. The low-IF receiver includes an analog front end that is configured to receive a modulated IQ data signal and provide an in-phase signal and a quadrature signal, where the in-phase signal is phase shifted by approximately 90° relative to the quadrature signal. The low-IF receiver further includes a digital processing block, and a single path that provides only one of the in-phase signal and the quadrature signal to the digital processing block. Other receivers and methods are also disclosed.

    摘要: The invention relates to a demodulator and also a demodulation method and enables a reliable demodulation even when the intermediate frequency range overlaps the range of the data frequencies of the signal. For this purpose, a rapidly oscillating output signal is generated from the in-phase signal and also the quadrature signal, the sign of which output signal varies in a manner dependent on the product of the signs of the in-phase signal and of the quadrature signal. Either an XOR gate or a multiplier stage may be used in order to generate an output signal of this type.

    摘要: A frequency conversion circuit arrangement is disclosed providing a complex output signal at its output. The circuit comprises two frequency mixers that are driven, on the one hand, by an input signal and, on the other hand, by a feedback signal. In this case, the feedback signal is the frequency-divided output signal and has been broken down into an in-phase component and a quadrature component. The frequency conversion circuit provides a signal at an output frequency in a manner independent of production tolerances and accurately in terms of frequency, said signal being in the form of an IQ signal and additionally being decoupled, in terms of frequency, from the input signal. The frequency conversion circuit is therefore particularly well suited to use in mobile radio transceivers.

    摘要: A transmission arrangement includes a step-up frequency mixer that converts a modulation signal to a transmission frequency. The step-up frequency mixer is arranged within a phase locked loop that further comprises a frequency divider that is likewise supplied with the modulation data, combined with channel pre-selection data, for the purposes of compensation. This arrangement prevents low-frequency components of the modulation signal from being eliminated by the phase locked loop. In addition, noise components and undesirable interference frequency components that are produced in the mixer are suppressed by the phase locked loop.
