    摘要: An apparatus and a method to remove adsorbates from a fluid is described. A fluid such as compressed air is passed over a desiccant in a drying tower to adsorb moisture from the compressed air. The desiccant is regenerated in a venturi. A pressure-equalization chamber can be located between the venturi and the drying tower, and a pressure-equalization chamber can be located between the drying tower and the venturi. In another embodiment, a heater is used to assist in regeneration. In yet another embodiment, a heat-of-compression dryer is used to assist in regeneration. In yet another embodiment, a storage chamber is used to store a batch of regenerated desiccant while a second batch of desiccant is being used.

    摘要: A delta-wing and a tapered-wing planform are combined and result in an airplane which does not require a tail assembly or a fuselage and which provides a means to resolve the conflicting requirements for large circular aperture payload space and low drag, high endurance flight. The invention consists of a flying machine with a moveable disk structure which enables a suitable circular aperture phased array antenna system to be operated either within the wing envelope or in a vertical position so that multiple narrow pencil beams can be electronically steered in opposite directions from the airplane. The location of the antenna with respect to the wing structure is such that it can operate with a corporate-fed array in the horizontal position and/or a space-fed array in the vertical position.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided for prefetching and caching portal information in a client application in a logically separated client/server computing environment. Before a user requests a specific portlet view to be displayed at the user's web browser, portlet information from a server is prefetched. The portlet information may include content data to be displayed in a portlet view, meta data describing how the content data will be displayed, and combinations of both content data and meta data. The prefetching step is performed on the client of the logically separated client/server computing environment. The client stores the prefetched portlet. Once the prefetched portlet information has been stored, upon a user request such as clicking on a link in a portlet view, the method retrieves the stored portlet information and displays the portlet information in a corresponding portlet view. From the user's perspective, the portlet view may display new content information, previously viewed content information in a different format, or a combination of new content information and old content information presented in a different format.
