Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for evaluating the characteristics of a magnetorheological fluid. The method for evaluating the characteristics of magnetorheological fluid, according to the present invention, is for evaluating the characteristics of magnetorheological fluid comprising a dispersion medium and magnetic particles and is characterized by comprising the following steps: (a) preparing a container in which a magnetorheological fluid is filled or a flow channel in which a magnetorheological fluid flows; (b) placing a coil part such that the container or flow channel is positioned in the hollow portion of the coil part; and (c) using the coil to measure an impedance signal or inductance signal with respect to the magnetorheological fluid.
