    摘要: Blowable fuses on an integrated circuit are programmed in software, responsive to the control of an addressable memory which communicates with the peripheral data bus of a digital processor to allow increased flexibility of the programming operation, and to allow for correction both during the manufacturing process and after packaging of the manufactured integrated circuit. In a preferred embodiment, the fuses are operated (i.e., blown) responsive to transistor switching elements present on the integrated circuit and which are controlled by the addressable memory. The switching elements, and the associated fuses, can be accessed through software in similar fashion to any other peripheral device. The preferred addressable memory includes an instruction register and a data register, which are loaded from and write to the peripheral data bus. Internally, the data register includes an array of registers corresponding to the fuse links with which the system is associated. Data words in the registers are written from or read to the data register tinder the control of instructions in the instruction register, and the fuses are then blown serially, by reference to the data in the registers.

    摘要: A measurement circuit is provided for measuring the resistance of a variable resistance element biased with an external voltage supply. The measurement circuit includes an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and a reference generator connected with the ADC. The ADC is operative to receive a reference voltage and a first voltage developed across the variable resistance element, and to generate a digital output signal indicative of a relationship between the first voltage and the reference voltage. The reference generator is operative to generate the reference voltage as a function of the external voltage supply.

    摘要: This invention provides a phase splitter device that generates in-phase and quadrature outputs that have a phase difference of substantially a phase set value (e.g., 90°) and an amplitude difference of substantially an amplitude set value (e.g., zero). A first feedback loop controls the phase difference between the in-phase and the quadrature outputs while a second feedback loop controls the amplitude difference between the in-phase and quadrature outputs. The phase splitter device controls the amplitude difference and the phase difference between the in-phase and the quadrature outputs by a common mode of control signals and a differential between the control signals, respectively. In this way, the phase splitter device generates in-phasing and quadrature outputs that have a phase difference and an amplitude difference that is substantially equal to the amplitude and phase set values (e.g., zero and 90°) using a single set of control signals.
