Abstract:
An automotive center stack panel assembly is provided comprising an automotive instrument panel assembly having a recessed display chamber. A video display panel assembly is mounted within the recessed display chamber. A rear pivot link assembly is included having a rear first fixed pivot end rotatably mounted to the automotive instrument panel assembly and a rear second fixed pivot end. A forward pivot link assembly is included having a forward first fixed pivot end rotatably mounted to the automotive instrument panel assembly and a forward second pivot end. A control panel includes an upper control panel end and a lower control panel end and a control panel slot guide. The rear second fixed pivot end rotatably is mounted to the upper control panel end and the forward second pivot end slidably is mounted within said control panel slot guide. The rear pivot link assembly and the forward pivot link assembly allow the control panel to rotate such that the control panel is pivotable between a display hidden position and a display exposed position. The control panel covers the recessed display chamber when in the display hidden position.
Abstract:
Telephone terminal equipments connected to the network through the device described herein are prevented from applying potentially human-hazardous voltages or currents to the network. The device includes a pair of bifilar relay coils, one in each connection to the central office. These operate an associated relay contact only when an unbalanced voltage or current condition occurs on the customer leads. A circuit path is thus completed to operate a second relay, which opens the connection between the customer terminal leads and the network leads; and establishes a path to ground through its own coils for the current from the unbalanced source. Means are included for assuring that the fraction of hazardous voltage appearing across the second relay remains essentially constant in the frequency range of 17 to 60 hertz. Only removal of the unbalanced current can release the relay and restore the network connection.

An automotive center stack panel assembly is providing comprising an automotive instrument panel assembly having a recessed display chamber formed therein. A video display panel assembly is mounted within the recessed display chamber. A pivot link assembly has a first fixed pivot end rotatably mounted to the automotive instrument panel assembly and a second fixed pivot end. A control panel has an upper control panel end and a lower control panel end. The second fixed pivot end is rotatably mounted to the upper control panel end such that the control panel is pivotable between a display hidden position and a display exposed position. The control panel covers the recessed display chamber when in the display hidden position.
Abstract:
A method of processing notifications issued by computer processes, each notification notifying the user of a business event that requires the user to take an action. The notifications are received and links may be displayed to notifications that are selected according to selected characteristics. When the user selects a displayed link, the corresponding notification may be displayed. The user may take an action relative to the displayed notification without accessing the computer process that issued the notification and a reply that includes an indication of the action taken by the user may then be generated and sent.
Abstract:
A self-cleaning reflective road marker comprises a housing formed of a generally cylindrical portion insertable into the road and a flanged portion for lying on the road surface connected thereto. The housing contains a stud mounted on a rubber hemisphere. The stud contains a circular reflector and the housing contains a circular o-ring located in the flanged portion opposite the reflector. In response to the passing of a tire over the marker, the stud is depressed and the reflector is wiped clean by the o-ring. On removal of the tire force, the resilience of the rubber hemisphere forces the stud into its original position and the reflector is further cleaned by the o-ring.The stud consists of two parts connected together, from above by a threaded bolt such that when the marker is fixed in the road the part can be removed to enable removal or replacement of the reflector and the o-ring.
