Abstract: The present invention relates to a gas management device suitable for being installed at the outlet o fa particle filter or of a catalytic converter. This device is characterized by a very compact configuration having at least the heat exchanger for an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system, particularly suitable for a low pressure system, and an exhaust gas discharge pipe which is part of the exhaust line. According to one embodiment, the device also allows integrating a bypass valve for the EGR heat exchanger. According to another embodiment, the device allows integrating a heat recovery unit participating in the EGR system. According to another embodiment, the device also allows both including a bypass and including a heat recovery unit. The degree of integration with the particle filter of the catalytic converter is maintained in all cases.

Abstract: A first aspect of the invention is a manifold for heat exchange tube, the tube configured to carry out the cooling of an electrical or electronic element by making use of a “U” flow, that is, with a flow out and a flow back such that the fluid supply and the fluid outlet are located at one end of the tube. The manifold is configured to allow fluidic connection between the flow and return flow in the U-flow located at the end of the heat exchange tube. The manifold allows for a change of flow direction with improved pressure drop. The tube is additionally configured to establish a proper coupling to the manifold.

Abstract: Disclosed is a heating plate for a flow heater having a substrate made of metal, a heating resistor arranged on one side of the substrate and fins arranged on an opposite side of the substrate. The fins are brazed to the substrate, made of corrugated sheet metal and provided with a series of cuts across ridges of the corrugated sheet metal. According to this disclosure, the ridges are compressed such that opposing surfaces on the inside of the ridges contact each other.

Abstract: A flow heater has a housing with a base and cover. A heating plate is adjacent the channel, and fins in the channel contact the heating plate. An inner wall of the housing has a slanted section and a printed circuit board is arranged between the inner wall and the cover. A channel for liquid has first and second wedge-shaped sections that taper from an end of the heating plate adjacent to the inlet and the outlet to an opposite end. A middle section connects the wedge-shaped sections. The flow direction in the middle section is crosswise to the flow direction in the wedge-shaped sections. A wedge-shaped space is defined by the inner wall and the cover part, and the wedge-shaped space tapers in a direction opposite the direction in which the first and second wedge-shaped channel sections taper. The printed circuit board is arranged in the wedge-shaped space.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a heating plate particularly suitable for devices for heating a thermal fluid. The heat generated in this device is conveyed to other locations through the thermal fluid, where the heat is given off, for example, through a heat exchanger configured as a radiator. The heating plate is characterized by an electronics-free safety solution intended to automatically cause the generation of heat to cease when temperatures above a preestablished safety temperature are reached.
