摘要: Example implementations relate to multicast multi-user grouping. For example, an apparatus may comprise a processing resource that may rank a plurality of stations associated with the apparatus based on a characteristic associated with a first multicast group containing a first set of stations among the plurality of stations, and a characteristic associated with a second multicast group containing a second set of stations among the plurality of stations. The processing resource may assign a first group of stations from the first multicast group and the second multicast group to a first multi-user group and assign a second group of stations from the first multicast group and the second multicast group to a second multi-user group. The processing resource may convert a multicast frame associated with a station from the first multi-user group to a unicast frame, and transmit the unicast frame to each station in the first multi-user group.

摘要: Example method includes: receiving, by a network device, a plurality of signal strength values associated with a particular timestamp corresponding to a particular client device from a plurality of access points in a wireless network at a site; determining a mobility pattern based on the plurality of signal strength values associated with the particular timestamp corresponding to the particular client device; comparing the mobility pattern associated with the particular timestamp corresponding to the particular client device with mobility patterns associated with other timestamps or corresponding to other client devices to identify a set of frequent mobility patterns; determining whether an unassociated client device exhibits a threshold number of frequent mobility patterns for a threshold amount of time; and determining that the unassociated client device presents in the site in response to the unassociated client device exhibiting the threshold number of the frequent mobility patterns for the threshold amount of time.

摘要: A system for (a) determining a first direction from a first device toward a second device based on a first set of WiFi® wireless signals received by at least one antenna of the first device from the second device, (b) determining a second direction from a third device toward the second device based on a second set of WiFi® wireless signals received by at least one antenna of the third device from the second device, and (c) based at least on a first location of the first device, the first direction from the first device toward the second device, a second location of the third device, and the second direction from the third device toward the second device: determining a third location of the second device.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses a system and a method for displaying mobile trails for mobile client devices. Specifically, a network device obtains a plurality of performance measurements and a corresponding plurality of physical locations for a client device over a period of time. Then the network device generates a plurality of visual representations for the client device over the period of time, each visual representation representing a respective performance measurement and a respective physical location at a respective time during the period of lime. Moreover, the network device can display, store, and/or transmit a map of a physical environment with the plurality of visual representations.

摘要: In some examples a method includes receiving, with an Access Point (AP), a request from a wireless device to access a network through the AP; determining, with the AP via beamforming of a fixed antenna array of the AP, whether an angle of the wireless device relative to the fixed antenna array is within a first predetermined range; determining, with the AP, whether a received signal strength between the AP and the wireless device is within a second predetermined range; and granting, with the AP, the wireless device access to a network through the AP when it is determined that the angle of the wireless device relative to the fixed antenna array is within the first predetermined range and the received signal strength is within the second predetermined range.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses a method and network device for dynamic detection of inactive virtual private network clients. Specifically, a network device receives periodic messages from a first device at a first interval, and determines a timeout value for the first device based at least on the first interval, at which the periodic messages are received from the first device. Subsequent to determining the timeout value, the network device detects that a message has not been received from the first device for a period of time corresponding to the timeout value for the first device. The network device then terminates at least one connection with the first device responsive to determining that no message has been received from the first device for the period of time corresponding to the timeout value for the first device.

摘要: In some examples, a method may include detecting, by a master access point of a cluster of access points, a new access point programmed with a second code version, where the master access point is programmed with a first code version that is older than the second code version. The method may also include determining whether the master access point can be reprogrammed with the second code version, and based on a determination that the master access point can be reprogrammed with the second code version, reprogramming the master access point with the second code version, and rebooting the master access point after sending to the new access point a command to change configuration of the new access point.
