    摘要: A system to light a cavity 19 in an appliance. A source or light emitter 27 is mounted on a circuit board 32, so that the light emanating from said source or light emitter 27, is concentrated into a light beam using an optical collimator system 28 or in some cases a Fresnel arrangement; wherein the foregoing elements may be found outside a door 14, which allow access into the cavity; thus the light beam exiting the optical collimator 27 or Fresnel arrangement travels a distance though air between the optical collimator system 27 or Fresnel arrangement and the upper face of the light guide 29 which is placed on the door 14, the light guide 29 transports the luminous flux towards a notch which diverts said luminous flux directing into the cavity's 19 interior.

    摘要: A uterine manipulator designed to perform a total laparoscopic hysterectomy in an easy, safe and effective manner, which simplifies the surgical procedure by improving the anatomical angle of access to round ligaments, salpinges, utero-ovarian ligaments, broad ligaments, uterine vessels, anterior endopelvic fascia, lateral endopelvic fascia, but very especially to the posterior endopelvic fascia due to innovative design of said manipulator that allows the anteversoflexion movement of uterus. In addition, the invention moves ureters away from the risk zone when tying the uterine vessels, and protects and prevents the mobilization of the bladder and rectum, as a result of improving the angle of access. Additionally, the manipulator has the advantage of being easily manageable because of the anatomical design of its handle and its strong design allows for total hysterectomy uterus, still too big and heavy uteri.

    摘要: An infrared photodetector containing a region of semiconductor quantum dots (1), n type doped in the barrier region (2), and sandwiched between respective layers of semiconductors of n type (3) and p type (4). When infrared photons (5) are absorbed, they create electronic transitions (6) from the confined states in the dots (7) to the conduction band (8). This causes the appearance of a voltage between device p (9) and n (10) contacts or the production of an electrical current. In either way, the detection of the infrared light is possible. A low band-pass filter (12) prevents high energy photons (13) from entering the device and causing electronic transitions (14) from the valence (15) band to the conduction band (8).
