摘要: In accordance with one embodiment, a pick-up tool includes an elongated hollow body having first and second pick-up fingers extending divergently outward from a distal end of the body. Engagement elements, such as rubber cups, may be individually located at terminating outer ends of each of the first and second pick-up fingers. The pick-up tool further includes first and second linkages respectively extending from the first and second pick-up fingers. A lighting element is coupled to the body, a magnet is coupled to the first linkage, and a switch, preferably a reed switch is coupled to the distal end of the body. The switch causes the lighting element to emit light for a predetermined period of time upon detecting the magnet at an effectively close distance relative to the switch. A lever or trigger pivotally coupled to the body may be used for drawing the first and second linkages rearward, causing the engagement elements to move closer together, and substantially simultaneously causing the magnet to effectively actuate the switch.

摘要: A portable gas fractionalization apparatus that provides oxygen rich air to patients is provided. The apparatus is compact, lightweight, and low-noise. The components are assembled in a housing that is divided into two compartments. One compartment is maintained at a lower temperature than the other compartment. The lower temperature compartment is configured for mounting components that can be damaged by heat. The higher temperature compartment is configured for mounting heat generating components. An air stream is directed to flow from an ambient air inlet to an air outlet constantly so that there is always a fresh source of cooling air. The apparatus utilizes a PSA unit to produce an oxygen enriched product. The PSA unit incorporates a novel single ended column design in which all flow paths and valves can be co-located on a single integrated manifold. The apparatus also can be used in conjunction with a satellite conserver and a mobility cart.

摘要: Computer-implemented methods and systems are provided for predicting how business decisions will impact an enterprise. A group of models may be used to model aspects of an enterprise and business units over a multiyear period. Models relating to different business parameters may be linked so that it may be determined how business decisions that result in a change to an input to one model impact aspects of the enterprise that are not modeled by the model. An iterative process may be used to obtain optimal results.
