A metering blade for zonally metering a liquid film comprises a plate body having a working edge usable in an arrangement in which the setting member bears against the plate body and bridges a portion thereof against a rotating roller comprises a blade with a plurality of zonal setting portions of a material capable of being displaced by resilient flection adapted to be arranged adjacent a setting member which includes intermediate portions between a working edge and the opposite edge compensating for the setting wherein the setting portions are at least 3 mm in thickness and each intermediate portion includes a web part having a thickness which is not more than 1/5th the thickness of the setting portion and has a width amounting to at least five times the thickness of the web. The blade has a working edge with a reinforcement adjacent each web.

A clamping device for clamping a flexible packing (2, 3) of a cylinder (1) of a printing press, which cylinder has an axial channel (6) on a jacket surface, the clamping device includes a clamping body (10), which has a surface (S) that forms in the channel (6) with an opposite surface (4) a clamping gap for at least one end of the packing (2, 3) protruding through an opening (7) of the channel (6). A pressing device (13; 14; 10a) presses the clamping body (10) and the opposite surface (4) against each other with a clamping force (F). A mounting device (12; 14; 1, 8), which forms a support surface (9; 14′; 9′), touches the clamping body (10) and the clamping body (10) is supported on it. A center of gravity (SP) of the clamping body (10) can be moved, while the clamping gap is maintained, at right angles to an axis of rotation (DZ) of the cylinder (1) in a first direction relative to the cylinder (1) and the support surface (9; 14′; 9′) and in a second direction that is not parallel to the first direction in relation to the cylinder (1).

A clamping device is provided for clamping a flexible packing of a cylinder of a printing press, which cylinder has an axial channel on a jacket surface. The clamping device has a clamping body (10; 20; 25), which forms a clamping gap in the channel (6) with a first opposite surface (4) for at least one end of the packing (2, 3), which end protrudes through a opening (7) of the channel (6). Two channel walls face the first opposite surface (4), and one of which forms a second opposite surface (5) and the other forms a third opposite surface (9). At the surfaces the clamping body (10; 20; 25) is supported touching the wall or walls. At least one clamping body (10; 20; 25) and the opposite surfaces (4, 5, 9) form a spring (10; 20; 14; 15). The force of elasticity of the spring (10; 20; 14; 15) tensions the clamping body (10; 20; 25) and the first opposite surface (4) toward each other in order to clamp the at least one end of the packing (2, 3) with the packing (2, 3) pulled in.
