    Abstract: A manufacturing method for decorating natural leather including the steps of: jetting a decorative image with one or more radiation curable inkjet inks on a leather surface; and curing the radiation curable inkjet inks jetted on the leather surface; wherein the one or more radiation curable inkjet inks include a colorant and a polymerizable composition containing 0.5 to 15.0 wt % of one or more polyfunctional polymerizable compounds and at least 85.0 wt % of one or more monofunctional polymerizable compounds with the weight percentages based on the total weight of the polymerizable composition; wherein the one or more radiation curable inkjet inks include 0 to 35.0 wt % of organic solvent; and at least 85.0 wt % of one or more monofunctional polymerizable compounds; and wherein the glass transition temperature of the one or more radiation curable inkjet inks (I) is less than 25° C.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing decorative surfaces including the steps of inkjet printing an image on a first thermoplastic foil by jetting and curing one or more pigmented free radical curable inkjet inks on the first thermoplastic foil: applying and curing a free radical curable liquid as an adhesive layer on the inkjet printed image: and heat pressing the first thermoplastic foil with a second thermoplastic foil into a decorative laminate: wherein at least one of the first and second thermoplastic foils is a transparent thermoplastic foil: wherein the one or more pigmented free radical curable inkjet inks include a colour pigment and a polymerizable composition containing 10 to 90 wt % of one or more monofunctional polymerizable compounds: and wherein the free radical curable liquid includes a polymerizable composition contains 15 wt % or more of polyfunctional polymerizable compounds and 15 wt % or more of a specific monofunctional polymerizable compound.

    Abstract: A UV curable inkjet ink for inkjet printing tarpaulins including an pigment, a free radical photoinitiator and a polymerizable composition containing more than 90.0 wt % of monofunctional polymerizable compounds based on the total weight of the polymerizable composition, wherein the monofunctional polymerizable compounds include more than 5.0 wt % of a N-vinyl oxazolidinone (V); more than 12.0 wt % of a heterocyclic acrylate (H) being a non-aromatic cyclic acrylate with all heteroatoms being oxygen; and more than 23.0 wt % of a mixture of an aromatic acrylate (A) and an alicyclic acrylate (L); wherein the wt % of the monofunctional polymerizable compounds is based on the total weight of the UV curable inkjet ink; and wherein a weight ratio R=(H+A)/(V+L) is no more than 2.0. An inkjet printing method is also disclosed.
