Abstract:
To form multi-layer paint films which have a good finished appearance on objects which are to be painted, using an aqueous base coat composition. An aqueous base coat composition which contains aqueous polyurethane resin and rheology control agent, the electrical conductivity measured in an aqueous solution of 3% by weight concentration of which is 700-900 mS/cm, is painted and then the paint film is formed, a transparent top coat is painted on the base coat paint film obtained in this way, and the base coat and the top coat are baked at the same time.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for the production of two-coat finishes, in which a pigmented aqueous basecoat is applied, the basecoat obtained is coated over with a clearcoat, and basecoat and clearcoat are baked together. The process according to the invention is distinguished in that the aqueous basecoat contains an emulsion polymer which has been prepared in the presence of a reaction product (A), the reaction product (A) being obtained by reacting(i) a butadiene homo- or copolymer,(ii) at least one fatty acid of a drying oil or at least one drying oil or a mixture of at least one fatty acid of a drying oil and at least one drying oil, and(iii) maleic anhydridein a mass ratio of (i):(ii):(iii)=1.0:0.1 to 0.6:0.1 to 0.6 and, after adding a basic aqueous solution, converting the reaction product to an aqueous dispersion.
Abstract:
Disclosed are wheelsets having a cured coating produced from the application and curing of a composition comprising a component A comprising a1) 18 to 30% by weight of a polyether polyol with a hydroxy number of 300 to 500 mg KOH/g, a2) 38 to 60% by weight of castor oil, a3) 0.6 to 2.0% by weight of at least one di- or polyamine, a4) 5.6 to 9.0% by weight of trizinc bis(orthophosphate), a5) 2.2 to 3.5% by weight of zinc oxide and/or zinc phosphate, a6) 0.05 to 0.4% by weight of a catalyst which catalyzes urethane formation, where the percentage by weight data are based on the total mass of the coating composition, and a component B comprising one or more di- and/or polyisocyanates in an amount corresponding to a molar ratio of 0.6:1 to 1.2:1 of the isocyanate groups to the hydroxy groups of the constituents a1) and a2).
