    Abstract: An authentication method includes registering in an authentication service associated with an application, a ID of a wearable device, disposing the wearable device proximate to a smart device that does not have the application, to provide the ID and an identifier for the application, wherein the smart device stores a document, receiving in the authentication service from the smart device, a communication including the ID, the identifier, and the document, wherein the smart device receives the application in response to the identifier, determining in the authentication service, whether an authentication service is approved in response to the ID, digitally signing in the authentication service, the document to form a digitally signed document, in response to the document and to determining that the authentication service is approved, outputting with the authentication service, the digitally signed document to the smart device.

Such multi-level signaling may be configured to increase a data transfer rate without increasing the frequency of data transfer and/or a transmit power of the communicated data. An example of multi-level signaling scheme may be pulse amplitude modulation (PAM). Each unique symbol of the multi-level signal may be configured to represent a plurality of bits of data.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may apply pseudo-noise signals to repetitions of a first signal to obtain a set of second signals and transmit each of the set of second signals to a user equipment (UE) during a respective set of different time intervals. Each of the pseudo-noise signals may be associated with a gain and phase parameter, and may be based on a channel state information (CSI) associated with a channel for communications with the UE over the respective time interval. Each gain parameter may cause a power level of the pseudo-noise signal to be within a defined range, and a gain and phase parameter associated with a pseudo-noise signal applied to a subsequent repetition of the first signal may be based on another gain and phase parameter associated with another phase-noise signal applied to a previous repetition of the first signal.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for configurable types of write operations are described. A memory device may receive a write command to write data in a zone of a memory system. The memory device may identify a physical address to store the data using a cursor associated with the zone based at least in part on receiving the write command. In some examples, the cursor may be associated with a type of a write operation based on a quantity of data associated with the cursor. As such, the memory device write, using a first type of the write operation or a second type of the write operation in accordance with the quantity of data, the data, and an indication of the type of the write operation used to write the data into the memory system.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may configure one or more user equipments (UEs) with one or more timers, such that the UEs may switch directions for a communication mode for the duration of a timer and during a discontinuous cycle. The UEs may activate the timers and may perform the switching operation during the active duration of a discontinuous cycle. A UE may transmit a sidelink message during a transmission on duration (TX-On). The UE may activate a timer and switch to a receive mode. Similarly, the second UE may receive the sidelink message during a reception on duration (RX-On) and may activate the timer. The second UE may switch to a TX-On mode for an on duration of a TX-On cycle to transmit a sidelink response.
