    摘要: The present invention is a contact lens treatment solution containing the following copolymer A and copolymer B in a ratio of A/B=1000/1 to 2/1 (by weight). According to the present invention, there can be provided a contact lens treatment solution capable of removing dirt having adhered to contact lens surfaces and capable of imparting persisting hydrophilicity to contact lens surfaces, by simple immersion treatment.



    Copolymer A: a copolymer obtained by copolymerization of a monomer (a) represented by formula (1) and a monomer (b) represented by formula (2), in which the copolymerization ratio of the monomer (a) to the monomer (b), a/b=7/3 to 9/1 (by mol), and having a weight-average molecular weight of 400,000 to 700,000.
    Copolymer B: a copolymer obtained by copolymerization of a monomer (c) represented by formula (3) and a monomer (d) represented by formula (4), in which the copolymerization ratio of the monomer (c) to the monomer (d), c/d=1/4 to 9/1 (by mol), and having a weight-average molecular weight of 20,000 to 90,000.

    摘要: A method for producing a multi-arm type polyethylene glycol derivative, which includes carrying out the following in order: Step (A): protecting an even number of hydroxyl groups, while leaving only the hydroxyl group at the 1-position of a polyhydric alcohol having an odd number of hydroxyl groups, other than the hydroxyl group at the 1-position by cyclic benzylidene acetalization, Step (B): linking two molecules of the compound obtained in step (A) to a compound for introducing a specific linker by etherification reaction, Step (C): deprotecting the cyclic benzylidene acetal structure at the terminal of the compound obtained in step (B), Step (D): polymerizing 3 to 600 mol of ethylene oxide to each hydroxyl group of the compound obtained in step (C) to obtain a multi-arm type polyethylene glycol derivative, and Step (E): functionalizing the hydroxyl group at the terminal of the multi-arm type polyethylene glycol derivative obtained in step (D).

    摘要: Provided is a surface treatment agent for an ophthalmic device that can impart wettability and lubricity to the surface of a silicone hydrogel, more specifically, a surface treatment agent for an ophthalmic device that can subject the silicone hydrogel to surface treatment even when the silicone hydrogel is not caused to present any specific complementary functional group. Also provided are a surface-treated silicone hydrogel whose surface has been treated with the surface treatment agent for an ophthalmic device, and an ophthalmic device using the surface-treated silicone hydrogel. It has been found that the above-mentioned objects can be achieved by using a water-soluble copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a phosphorylcholine group-containing monomer, a specific silicone monomer, and a thermally reactive monomer or a photoreactive monomer, the copolymer having water solubility controlled to a specific level. Thus, the present invention has been completed.
