    Abstract: A lens barrel is provided to be attached to a camera body that can reduce an outer diameter of a back end section of the lens barrel even when a member moving in an optical axis direction is disposed on the back end section of the lens barrel. A lens barrel includes a fixed cylinder, a lens holding frame that is disposed on an inner circumferential side of the fixed cylinder and can move in an optical axis direction relative to the fixed cylinder, a guide cylinder that is disposed on an outer circumferential side of the fixed cylinder and can move, together with the lens holding frame, in the optical axis direction relative to the fixed cylinder, and a rotary cylinder that is disposed on the outer circumferential side of the fixed cylinder and can rotate relative to the fixed cylinder. A front end section of the guide cylinder and the rotary cylinder are disposed further on a front side than a connection part that connects the lens holding frame and the guide cylinder. A power transmission mechanism is disposed between the front end section of the guide cylinder and the rotary cylinder. The power transmission mechanism converts a rotary motion of the rotary cylinder into a linear motion of the guide cylinder to cause the guide cylinder and the lens holding frame to move in the optical axis direction.

    Abstract: A lens barrel has at least one movable lens group that can move in one direction and the other direction along the optical axis, the lens barrel comprising: a movable lens frame; a voice coil motor for driving a movable lens group and the movable lens frame along the optical axis; and a stopper mechanism brought into contact with the movable lens frame. The stopper mechanism includes a stopper member that moves between a retracted position where the stopper member does not touch the movable lens frame when the voice coil motor is energized, and an abutting position where the stopper member is brought into contact with the movable lens frame when the voice coil motor is not energized.

    Abstract: A lens barrel includes: a lens frame that holds a lens and is movable in the optical axial direction of the lens; and a moving mechanism that moves the lens frame in the optical axial direction. The moving mechanism includes: a feed screw; a drive source that rotates the feed screw; a biasing member that biases the lens frame toward direction side; a nut on the direction side of the lens frame that is screwed with the feed screw; and a low-friction member between the nut and the lens frame in the optical axial direction. At least one of a friction coefficient between the lens frame and the low-friction member or a friction coefficient between the nut and the low-friction member is smaller than a friction coefficient between the lens frame and the nut when the lens frame is in contact with the nut.

    Abstract: An imaging device is provided that includes: a lens barrel, an element holder adhesively secured to one end of the lens barrel while holding an imaging element; and an elastic body disposed between the lens barrel and the element holder. The lens barrel has formed thereon a projection projecting toward the element holder. The element holder has formed therein an insertion hole into which the projection is inserted. The elastic body is fitted to the projection with the projection inserted into an insertion hole in the elastic body. In the imaging device, an outer peripheral surface of the projection and an inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole are in contact with each other, and the element holder is in contact with the elastic body on the periphery of the insertion hole. An adhesive is filled between the projection and the insertion hole.

    Abstract: An imaging device is provided that includes: a lens barrel, an element holder adhesively secured to one end of the lens barrel while holding an imaging element; and an elastic body disposed between the lens barrel and the element holder. The lens barrel has formed thereon a projection projecting toward the element holder. The element holder has formed therein an insertion hole into which the projection is inserted. The elastic body is fitted to the projection with the projection inserted into an insertion hole in the elastic body. In the imaging device, an outer peripheral surface of the projection and an inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole are in contact with each other, and the element holder is in contact with the elastic body on the periphery of the insertion hole. An adhesive is filled between the projection and the insertion hole.
