摘要： A winch drum is disclosed. In a first aspect, a first set of teeth are positioned around an outer perimeter of a drum. The first set of teeth taper from a first crown to a first base. A second set of teeth are positioned around the outer perimeter of the drum. The second set of teeth taper from a second crown to a second base. The second set of teeth are offset from the first set of teeth such that a gap between the first bases and the second bases forms a sinusoidal channel for a line to follow the first set of teeth and the second set of teeth becomes a guide for the line so that the line can engage the sinusoidal channel. The line follows the sinusoidal channel and each change of direction along the sinusoidal path causes the line to engage by friction with the first bases and the second bases. In a second aspect, the drum includes a trough that follows a sinusoidal path and wherein the trough is narrower at its bottom than at its top.

摘要： A system for growing plants is described which includes a first platform, configured to support a first set of plants thereon. The system also includes a second platform, spaced above the first platform a sufficient distance to allow for full growth of the plants thereunder, and configured to support a second set of plants thereon. A first movable frame is suspended above the first platform and below the second platform. The first movable frame has a first array of grow lights mounted thereon. 摘要： A system for sanitizing water in a container is disclosed. The system includes a sanitizing chamber, separate from the container, sized to hold a small portion of the water from the container. A first conduit conveys water from the container to the chamber. A second conduit conveys water from the chamber to the container. A pump moves water from the container, through the first conduit into the chamber and from the chamber, through the second conduit into the container. A heater heats the water in the sanitizing chamber to a temperature and for a time sufficient to destroy or deactivate undesirable microorganisms. The first and second conduits each comprise at least one heat exchanger whereby water in the first conduit is heated by the water in the second conduit and water in the second conduit is cooled by water in the first conduit.

摘要： A chirp spread spectrum (CSS) receiver may reject, based on multiple data alignment chirps that includes an attribute identifier that is a mismatch to one or more preconfigured identifiers, a message early and before fully receiving/decoding the message. The multiple data alignment chirps may enable usage of a larger range of IDs than a single chirp signal. A receiver may receive a sequence of training chirps for symbol alignment followed by multiple opposite chirps for data alignment. Training chirps may be processed through a fast-Fourier transform (FFT) and the resulting values accumulated until a threshold is exceeded. Using symbol alignment from the training chirps, the receiver may decode multiple opposite chirps that indicate data alignment and comprise an encoded identifier. The receiver may reject the message and terminate further message processing based on the encoded identifier being a mismatch to preconfigured identifiers or attributes indicated by the encoded identifier.

摘要： A hitch system comprising a hitch shaft with a forward end configured to rigidly attach to a tow vehicle and a rearward end extending rearwardly toward a trailer frame; a head unit pivotally attached to the rearward end of the hitch shaft at a first pivot point having an upper portion and a lower portion, comprising a hitch ball on the upper portion of the head unit positioned out of vertical alignment with the first pivot point creating a second pivot point between the hitch ball and a trailer attached thereto; and a slot on the lower portion of the head unit, the slot having portions in vertical alignment with the first pivot point and the second pivot point; a first moment arm with a distal end configured for slidable attachment to a first bracket on the trailer frame and a forked proximal end comprising a first tine pivotally connected to the lower portion of the head unit; and a second tine having a knob in a sliding connection with the slot; and a second moment arm with a distal end configured for slidable attachment to a second bracket on the trailer frame and a proximal end pivotally attached to the head unit; wherein the first moment arm is at a first angle relative to the member of trailer and the second moment arm is at a second angle relative to the trailer; wherein the first angle is greater than the second angle; and whereby the effective pivot point of the system is moved forward to reduce sway is disclosed.

The system also includes a second bracket, likewise with an upper portion attached to the second side of the platform and a lower portion extending below the bottom surface. The lower portion of the second bracket is also shaped in such a way as to provide a second surface on which a portion of the additional item rests. In this way, the first and second brackets cooperate to support the additional item below the platform. In another aspect, the second bracket is replaced with at least one clip.
