Abstract:
Various embodiments relate generally to electrical and electronic hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network communications, and wearable computing and audio devices for monitoring and managing health and wellness. More specifically, disclosed are methods, interfaces, and computer-readable media to generate predictive consumable recommendations and indicators to determine nutrient density of health-promoting nutrients in consumables, such as food, drink, supplements, and the like. In one or more embodiments, a flow includes identifying nutritional content of one or more consumables, selecting a first element of the one or more consumables, identifying the first element as a first nutrient, and identifying a second element of the one or more consumables. Further, the flow includes characterizing an association between the first nutrient and the second element, and determining an indicator indicative of a nutrient density of at least the first element included in the one or more consumables. In one example, the indicator includes a food score.
Abstract:
Techniques for component protective overmolding using protective external coatings include selectively applying a protective material substantially over one or more elements coupled to a framework configured to be worn, the elements including at least a sensor, and forming one or more moldings substantially over a subset or all of the framework, the protective material and the elements, after the protective material has been selectively applied, at least one of the one or more moldings having a protective property.
Abstract:
Embodiments relate generally to electrical/electronic hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network communications, portable, wearable, and stationary media devices. RF transceivers and/or audio system in each media device may be used to wirelessly communicate between media devices and allow configuration and other data to be wirelessly transmitted from one media device to another media device. The proximity detection system may be configured to detect a presence of a user or multiple users and upon detecting presence, access content on a user device, and record the content while also playing back the content on the media device. One or more user devices in proximity of the media device post detection may wirelessly communicate with the media device and the media device may orchestrate handling of content from those devices or from a wirelessly accessible location such as the Cloud or Internet.
Abstract:
Embodiments relate generally to electrical and electronic hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network communications, and computing devices, and, in particular, to near-field antenna structures and formation methods for a wearable pod and/or device implementing a touch-sensitive interface in a metal pod cover. According to an embodiment, forming a wearable pod includes selecting a cradle having an attachment portion, forming an anchor portion to bind to the cradle and to an elastomer. The anchor portion includes a channel to provide support. Further, the method includes selecting an antenna having a width dimension sized less than a width dimension of the channel, disposing a portion of the antenna in the channel, and implementing terminals of the antenna coupled to circuitry of a near-field communication device.
