摘要: A watch includes an hour hand having a first conductive portion and rotating about an hour hand shaft, a seconds hand having a second conductive portion and rotating at a rotational speed faster than that of the hour hand about a seconds hand shaft, which is coaxial with the hour hand shaft, and a planar inverted-F antenna disposed, in plan view viewed from a direction parallel to the hour hand shaft, at a position overlapping a rotation range of the first conductive portion and a rotation range of the second conductive portion, and receiving a radio wave, and when the planar inverted-F antenna receives a radio wave, a controller, after rotating the seconds hand and then stopping the seconds hand at a reception indication position, rotates the hour hand such that the first conductive portion and the second conductive portion overlap each other in the plan view.

摘要: An electronic device may have a display. A display cover layer and a transparent inner display member may overlap a display pixel layer. The display pixel layer may have an array of display pixels for displaying images for a user. A touch sensor layer may be interposed between the display pixel layer and the transparent display member. A ferromagnetic shielding layer may be mounted below the display pixel layer. A flexible printed circuit containing coils of metal signal lines that form a near-field communications loop antenna may be interposed between the ferromagnetic shielding layer and the display pixel layer. A non-near-field antenna such as an inverted-F antenna may have a resonating element mounted on an inner surface of the display cover layer. The resonating element may be interposed between the transparent display member and the display cover layer.

摘要: A wearable electronic device includes a conductive housing, which has a main body and at least a first pair of conductive lugs external to and mechanically coupled to the main body. The main body of the conductive housing forms at least part of an antenna structure that is adapted for at least one of generating or receiving the wireless radio frequency signal. The wearable electronic device further includes a non-conductive pin, which extends between the ends of the conductive lugs, and a use location attachment. The use location attachment includes a plurality of segments, where at least one of the segments, which most closely mechanically couples to the non-conductive pin and the first pair of conductive lugs, is nonconductive, and where other ones of the plurality of segments of the use location attachment are conductive.
