摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for calculating winding currents at a delta side for a transformer. The transformer has two or more windings, with a first winding being a delta connected winding. The method includes obtaining line currents measured with measurement equipment associated with lines connected with the windings. The method further includes calculating zero sequence currents for at least a second winding, from the line currents of a corresponding line. The method further includes calculating zero sequence currents for the first winding, based on the zero sequence currents for at least the second winding, a phase displacement between the windings, and a turns ratio associated with the windings. The winding currents is calculated from the zero sequence currents of the first winding, and the line currents of a corresponding line.

摘要: A corrosion monitoring system includes one or more objects coupled to respective portions of a transformer tank. The one or more objects are configured to corrode before the respective portions of the transformer tank. At least one optical sensor is coupled to each of the objects. The at least one optical sensor has an optical output that changes in response to strain of the object. An analyzer is coupled to the at least one optical sensor. The analyzer is configured to perform one or more of detecting and predicting corrosion of the transformer tank based on the output of the at least one optical sensor.

摘要: A method for identifying a location of a fault in an electrical power distribution network that includes identifying an impedance of an electrical line between each pair of adjacent utility poles, measuring a voltage and a current of the power signal at a switching device during the fault, and estimating a voltage at each of the utility poles downstream of the switching device using the impedance of the electrical line between the utility poles and the measured voltage and current during the fault. The method calculates a reactive power value at each of the utility poles using the estimated voltages, where calculating a reactive power value includes compensating for distributed loads along the electrical line that consume reactive power during the fault, and determines the location of the fault based on where the reactive power goes to zero along the electrical line.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of determining a reduction of remaining service lifetime of an electrical device during a specific time period. A measurement system is provided comprising a temperature measurement device, a current measurement device and a voltage measurement device. A temperature value, voltage values and current values are measured by using the measurement device. A harmonic load is determined based on the current values. A reduced maximum operating temperature is determined based on the harmonic load. An amount of transient over-voltages is determined based on the voltage values. A transient aging factor is determined based on the amount of transient over-voltages. A temperature dependent aging factor is determined based on the temperature value and the reduced maximum operating temperature. Finally, the reduction of remaining service life is determined based on the specific time period, the transient aging factor and the temperature dependent aging factor.

At least one of a zero cross point at which the response voltage intersects with a reference voltage and a peak voltage on a positive side and a negative side of the response voltage is used as the determination index, in addition to a circuit constant of the coil.
