    摘要: A valve comprises a body including a chamber and two superposed closures moving in the chamber and the bottom part of the chamber includes a first seat for one closure and a second seat for the other closure. The closures are each carried by a swing mobile between a position in which the closure bears in sealed fashion on the corresponding seat and a position in which the closure is spaced from the seat. The space between the two closures contains an elastic material membrane closing a chamber into which a compressed air feed discharges. The membrane can therefore be inflated and pressed in sealed fashion onto the top closure to close and seal the inlet of a passage which discharges into a space between the two closures.

    摘要: An auxiliary tap valve insertable into a fluid flow path of a tap is disclosed. The auxiliary tap valve includes a sleeve body with an auxiliary valve seat member, and an auxiliary valve member. The sleeve body has at least one constriction for restricting fluid flow through the auxiliary tap valve. The auxiliary valve member is supported within said sleeve body and operatively connectable to a main valve member of the tap to be movable between open and closed positions to open and close the auxiliary tap valve to fluid flow. The auxiliary valve member has a substantially-flat chamfered first face and a conical second face respectively facing downstream and upstream relative to fluid flow through the tap. In operation, fluid flow through said constriction is restricted to create a venturi pressure drop downstream across said auxiliary valve member. The venturi pressure and lift created by fluid flow against differential surface areas of the first and second faces collectively urge the auxiliary valve member toward the auxiliary valve seat member during fluid flow through the auxiliary valve member to reduce turbulence clatter.

The valve also includes a first vertical valve stem 8 and a second vertical valve stem 10, which is hollow and slidably surround the first stem 8. The first stem 8 has a first valve plug 7 for slidable engagement with an inner peripheral side of the seat 6. The second stem 10 has a second valve plug 9 for compressive engagement with an upper side of the seat 6. The first stem 8 is connected to a valve drive mechanism 28. When the valve opens, the drive 28 lifts the first stem 8, which the second plug 9 moves upward.

The upper and lower end zones of the ducting 4 define respective circular-cylindrical inlet and outlet 13a and 13b bounded by respective circular-cylindrical valve seats 14a and 14b in which the plugs 6a and 6b are sliding fits. Mounted on at least one horizontal extension piece 4d of the ducting 4 is at least one dosing pump 16. When the outlet 13b is closed by the plug 6b, the cross-section of the inlet 13a is unobstructed; similarly, when the inlet 13a is closed by the plug 6a, the cross-section of the outlet 13b is unobstructed. Furthermore, in an intermediate position of the rod 5, the cross-sections of both the inlet 13a and the outlet 13b are unobstructed, so that passage of a cleaning fluid through the ducting 4 is facilitated.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a two stage variable flow valve assembly for use in fluid handling. The valve assembly includes a body with a flow restrictor disposed therein to define two internal chambers which are closed at one end by a wall and open at the opposite end by a discharge opening. A valve having a bulb and a profiled valve stem extends axially through and is movable within the internal chambers to open and close the valve assembly for flow therethrough. Flow is halted through the valve assembly when a portion of the profiled valve stem enters the flow restrictor, prior to the bulb's closing of the discharge opening.

    摘要: A leak resistant, switching, double valve system consists of two sliding valve bodies in a valve housing with connecting lines. The two sliding valve bodies, which can be actuated independently of one another, are in contact in the closed position with valve seats in the valve housing, and are located at some distance one behind the other, forming a leak cavity between them. During the opening process, the first sliding valve body, before it leaves its valve seat, while simultaneously reducing the size of the leak cavity, can be placed in contact with the second sliding valve body, which is provided with a tubular extension which exits the valve housing in a sealed manner and connects the leak cavity to the environment of the valve system. With such a double valve system, the invention teaches that an optimal cleaning can be performed with minimal consumption of flushing agent, because the two sliding valve bodies can be moved independently of one another, each by a partial stroke opposite to the direction of the opening motion, into a flushing position, in which the sliding valve body is free from its valve seat and is in contact with a housing stop provided with flushing agent passages.
