摘要： An article for forming a protective cover for a book has a first sheet for forming a protective cover with an adhesive coating and a backing sheet. One sheet has delineations facilitating the removal of surplus portions of the first sheet in the regions of the ends of the spine and corners of the book being covered. The spine delineations may be convergent series of regularly spaced parallel lines. The corner delineations may be regularly spaced parallel lines which traverse corner regions. The backing layer is formed as three separately removal portions whereby the book spine and each book cover may be covered in separate steps.

摘要： A binder strip for home or office use in binding document pages includes a binder sheet having a full back cover section and a narrow front cover attaching flange section with a spine section interposed between the two. The spine section is provided with a number of closely adjacent beads of hot melt glue and the attaching flange section has a strip of peel-off pressure sensitive adhesive affixed to a free edge thereof. A front cover for the binder is totally separate from the binder and initially may not even be a part of the binder. The front cover is processed by any suitable home or office copier, embossing, foil stamping, color printing or like machine capable of custom processing a single sheet of ordinary document size. The processed cover is then attached to the attaching flange by means of the pressure sensitive adhesive. Document pages are stacked and inserted against the glue strips of the spine, and the glue is heated to secure the document pages and provides a complete bound document having the selectively processed front cover.

摘要： An easel binder includes hingedly interconnected front cover, back cover and spine panels; and page-mounting means are secured to the inside of one of the two cover panels. 摘要： Book coverings for protecting and improving the aesthetic appearance of books of varying sizes in which an outer wrapping sheet, which may be opaque or transparent, is cut or folded to conform to the height of the book leaving end flaps for the front and rear covers, and wherein generally elongated leaflets are provided to be cut to a dimension slightly greater than the height of the book for attachment to the outer surface of the front and back cover portions of the wrapper adjacent the end flap to form a loop on the inside of the book cover, the end flap being tucked under the loop to form a finished cover. The leaflets may be opaque or transparent and may be trapezoidal in shape or rectangular. The covers are positively held by the loops on the books without direct attachment thereto.
