摘要： A pipe filter and closure assembly comprises a support member in the form of an annular collar or sleeve. In use the collar is positioned wholly within the pipe at some distance from an open (upper) end of the pipe. A filter element in the form of a strainer is releasably mountable to the collar so as to inhibit the passage of solid material through the pipe, whilst allowing the passage of fluids (liquids and gases) therethrough. A closure member in the form of a plug in use is mountable inside the collar to be seated at the strainer. In use when the plug is in place, the flow of material through the pipe is blocked. The location of the assembly or part thereof arrangeable wholly within the pipe reduces the ease of access to and presents significant difficulties for an operator seeking to tamper with the assembly.

摘要： A sink strainer for a garbage disposal unit includes a strainer unit, a seat and a mounting flange. The strainer unit includes a handle, a strainer member and a plug member. The plug member has a platform and a surrounding wall depending from the platform on which multiple slope guide are located. The seat includes a limiter located at a lower portion of the seat, a stopping surface protruding from and surrounding a middle portion of the seat, a snapping portion at a top of the seat, and another snapping portion at a bottom of the seat. The mounting flange is provided at a top end with a flange portion and at a bottom end with a mounting portion. The sink strainer may further include a decorative flange having a flange portion and a snapping portion which are dimensioned and configured to abut on, and be engaged with, the flange portion and top snapping portion of the seat.

摘要： The invention relates to a device for preventing communication through pipe lines of high security institutions. A flapper valve is provided with a valve seat having a plurality of teeth extending into the center of the opening formed in the valve seat. A pivotal flapper opens or closes the valve by abutting a seating face of the valve seat or moving away, under the force of a fluid flow, and allowing passage of waste water from a plumbing fixture to the main waste conduit. A water trap seal is optionally and/or separately mounted for delivering an additional amount of water into the conventional waste trap to fill in the waste trap with fluid and prevent undesirable communication. An independent conduit connected to a water supply delivers water to a reservoir which is fluidly connected with a conventional jet conduit of a waste water system upstream from an outlet point of the jet conduit into the main waste trap.

摘要： A centering tool for disposing and maintaining a basket sink strainer in concentric and superposed parallel relationships with respect to a sink drain hole for subsequent assembled securement of the sink strainer. The centering tool comprises a tubular spider of upper and lower horizontal arms, normal to each other, telescopically mounting extensible tubular elements that are adjustably positionable for contact with the lateral corners of the sink. An adapter member, depending from the center of the spider's lower arm, carries a pronged adapter element that complementally engages arcuate slots in the bottom well of the sink strainer. Vertically disposed tubular feet, depending from the arms, rest upon the bottom surface of the sink.

摘要： A waste line trap is provided to prevent foreign objects and debris from being flushed through commodes into waste line systems. The waste line trap has a solid cylinder with continuous outer and inner walls. A plurality of angled fins are spaced equidistantly on the inner wall and extend outwardly toward the center of the cylinder. The fins have downwardly extending top beveled edges which terminate in vertically extending inner beveled side edges. The trap is installed in the discharge line of a commode and functions to catch foreign objects and debris from entering the main sewerage line.

摘要： A sanitary siphon providing a gas seal in the drain line of a washbasin, sink or other appliance, has an inlet tube extending down into a collecting vessel which is freely disposed in a casing having an outlet connected to the sewer and is tiltable in one direction from a normal upright position in the casing to empty the vessel and in the opposite direction to provide access through a closable opening in the casing for removal of any solid object that may accidentally have been dropped in the drain. The collecting vessel is tilted by means of an actuating knob connected with the vessel by a cam-actuating mechanism and is guided so as to tilt about a movable axis permitting a large angle of tilt without interference with the inlet tube.
