Abstract:
An indexing or ratcheting conveyor configured to advance a load includes a frame defining the inlet end and the outlet end of the conveyor, a first device with a gravity rocking pushers and a powered member configured to advance the load in a direction from the inlet end to the outlet end of the conveyor. The conveyor can also include a second device configured to move the load, disposed at the outlet end only, in a direction from the outlet end to the inlet end prior to discharge of the load outwardly from the outlet end. The conveyor can be used as a component of an oven configured to cook or bake dough in containers with electrical resistance.
Abstract:
A conveyor apparatus includes a pusher piece (19) fixed to a conveying rod (18) adapted to reciprocate along a board conveyance path, and a switching mechanism adapted to switch the pushing piece, by turning the conveying rod a predetermined angle, between an engaged position where the pusher piece (19) engages with a rear end face of a board (7) and a retracted position where the pusher piece (19) does not interfere with the board (7). The switching mechanism includes a guide member (23) provided with a guide hole (24) adapted to guide a guide rod (22). The guide hole (24) is made up of first and second guide holes (25 and 26) configured to extend in parallel to each other in a conveyance direction and slanted coupling guide holes (27, 27) adapted to couple ends of the first and second guide holes (25 and 26). When the conveying rod (18) reciprocates, the guide rod (22) makes a round of the closed-loop guide hole (24). When the guide rod (22) is guided by the first guide hole (25), the pusher piece (19) is positioned at the engaged position. When the guide rod (22) moves from the first guide hole (25) to the second guide hole (26), the conveying rod (18) axially rotates a predetermined angle, thereby positioning the pusher piece (19) at the retracted position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a conveying system for moving containers (14), the conveying system (4) comprising an inclined track (8) and a conveying device (24), where the track (8) has an container inlet (11) at the bottom (12) and an container outlet (15) at the top (16) and where the conveying device (24) is arranged to travel down (R) the track (8) and comprises a container moving unit (54) which after passage below a container (14) moves the container (14) one step up (L) the track (8), the conveying device (24) thus moving one container (14) at a time one step up (L) the track (8) during the downward (R) travel of the conveying device (24). The invention also relates to a tower structure (2) comprising a container conveying system (4), and a method for conveying containers (14) with a conveying system (4).
Abstract:
A scraper for removing debris from the floor of an animal stall includes a central frame member oriented generally parallel to the direction of movement of the scraper assembly and a cross frame member integral with the central frame member, the cross frame member having opposed first and second ends. First and second beams are pivotally supported on the first and second frame member ends and are generally parallel to the cross frame member. First and second scraper blades are pivotally supported, respectively, by the first and second beams, the blades being pivotal from a vertical orientation adapted for scraping a floor surface during advancement of the blade assembly in a first direction and pivotal to elevated, non-scraping orientation for retraction of the assembly in a direction opposite from the scraping direction. Preferably, a pair of end scrapers are supported by the outer ends of each of the two beams and hingedly connected thereto by a vertical hinge. These extension blade end scraper members are, thus, pivotal from an orientation generally parallel to the beams for scraping of a floor surface and pivotal to a second orientation generally perpendicular to the beams for retraction of the scraper device in a non-scraping direction.
Abstract:
A scraper (14) arranged between two parallel side members (12) of a scraper frame, having a metal structure (51) in the shape of a comb (52) with teeth facing downwards and a flexible blade (59) covering the teeth (52) and bonded to the structure (51). A first portion (51a) of the structure (51) is perpendicular to the longitudinal members (12) and at least a second portion (51b) integral with an end of the first portion (51a) forms an elbow with the latter, the flexible blade (59) being bonded to the elbows's inward facing surface. The invention is for use especially in blasting plants using powder or granular materials.
