摘要： A wiper device for wiping windshield panes of motor vehicles includes an oscillating blade driven in the direction transverse to the direction of its elongation and having a support with at least two pairs of end claws and an elastic rail having a wiper lip facing the pane being cleaned and held on the support by the end claws. Two end holding members are provided on the elastic rail which form stops cooperating with respective stop shoulders formed by the end faces of the claws to limit a longitudinal displacement of the rail and the wiper lip relative to the support. To permit the use of the same wiper element with the supports, the stop shoulders of which are positioned closer to each other, spacers are installed between the stops of the holding members and the stop shoulders of the support.

摘要： A windshield wiper blade is disclosed and, in particular, a plastic wiper blade having a main bridge and two secondary yokes pivotally linked to the end portions of the main bridge. Each of the secondary yokes are provided with an aperture wherein extends a transverse pivot. The main bridge is provided at each of its two end portions with a fork, the limbs of which extend substantially in the prolongation of the main bridge and define a seat for said transverse pivot of each secondary yoke. The wiper blades are, for example, used on motor vehicles.

摘要： The anchoring strip of an elastomeric squeegee element is retained within the body portion of a plastic supporting strip; the supporting strip includes laterally open channels which slidably engage opposed sets of claws of a superstructure; a plurality of pairs of spaced apart openings extend through the web of one channel in alignment with corresponding pairs of openings in the web of the other channel and corresponding notches in the anchoring strip. The pairs of openings and notches are spaced apart from like parts along the length of the refill unit so that at least one pair of opposed claws of diverse types of superstructures will fall between pairs of openings when the superstructure is substantially centered upon the refill unit. A U-shaped clip embraces a claw and its legs pass through the pairs of corresponding openings and notches and are detachably retained. Indicia is provided to guide in centering the superstructure on the backing strip. Longitudinally spaced laterally broadened areas are provided to accomodate superstructures having wider distances beween opposed claws.

摘要： Several different configurations of the superstructure of a wiper blade are provided for use with a novel backing strip for a wiping element. The backing strip has two spaced apart backing elements which are joined at the ends and at at least one portion intermediate the ends. The joined intermediate portion or portions have reduced flexibility and are deformed toward or away from the surface to be wiped. When the deformation of the joined intermediate portion is away from the surface to be wiped, one end of one element of each superstructure applies pressure thereto to force the wiping element into wiping contact with the surface to be wiped. When the deformation of a joined intermediate portion is toward the surface to be wiped, the ends of one element of the superstructure contacts the backing strip at points equally spaced from said joined portion to force the wiping element into wiping contact with the surface to be wiped.

摘要： A windshield wiper blade assembly is comprised of a flexible blade mounted to a pair of secondary yokes. A bridge joining the secondary yokes allows for quick release of the blade and yoke elements by outward deflection of the blade. The connection of bridge to secondary yoke also permits free rocking, within limits, of the blade in both directions relative to the bridge and the windshield, and a longitudinal sliding action which allows the blade to conform to a curved windshield during the wiper sweep without stressing the connection between the blade and secondary yokes.

摘要： A screen wiper blade with a replaceable rubber-blade comprises a deformable harness equipped with pairs of claws receiving the edges of a flexible vertebra on which a wiping blade rubber is mounted. The vertebra is constituted by an elongated thin metallic plate having a longitudinal slot over the major part of its length. The rubber blade is provided with a longitudinal bead turned towards the harness and separated from the body by a thin wall lodged in the said slot. Adjacent one of the extremities of the rubber blade and on the same side of the body as the bead is a nipple. The thin plate comprises at one extremity a cutaway portion forming a fork and the said nipple comprises in its lower part a groove facing the extremity of the blade rubber opposite to the said nipple, the said fork cooperating with the said groove. Thus the fitting of the blade rubber upon its thin plate is easier and the retention of the nipple is ensured by the cooperation of the fork with the groove in the nipple, which diminishes the risk of accidental falling apart.
