Abstract: A communication method and system for supporting a high data transmission rate fuse 5G communication systems with IoT technology to transmit data at a high rate after 4G systems. The method for a terminal in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation includes receiving a control message including indication information, the indication information indicating that physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) feedback for at least one secondary cell (SCell) is transmitted on a SCell; identifying whether the SCell is configured to the terminal and is activated; and if the SCell is configured to the terminal and is activated, obtaining Type 2 power headroom information for the SCell.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus, in a mobile communication system, for effectively providing configuration information about a small cell that has a small cell service region are provided. The method for transmitting reconfiguration information of a small cell base station in a mobile communication system includes: when deciding to reconfigure a small cell, obtaining the latest macro cell configuration information from a macro cell base station; generating reconfiguration information about the small cell on the basis of the obtained macro cell configuration information; and transmitting, to the macro cell base station, the regenerated reconfiguration information so that the macro cell base station can transmit the reconfiguration information to User Equipment (UE).

A method for utilizing an unlicensed frequency band as a supplementary band is used in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system. A secondary component carrier management method of a base station according to the present disclosure includes configuring a secondary component carrier of a second band to a terminal connected to the base station in a first band, determining whether a packet is present over a bearer allowing transmission on the secondary component carrier, and deactivating/releasing the secondary component carrier when no packet is present over the carrier.

Abstract: A method for configuring a time division duplex (TDD) of a user equipment in a communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving from a base station a first TDD configuration; receiving from the base station a message including information related to a dynamic TDD configuration; receiving a second TDD configuration according to the received information related to the dynamic TDD configuration; receiving from the base station an uplink grant; and determining whether to apply the first TDD configuration or the second TDD configuration based on a method by which the unlink grant is received. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the advantages of configuring a shorter cycle of the TDD to the user equipment supporting the TDD in a wireless communication system, and rapidly configuring the TDD to the user equipment variably according to a communication situation are provided.

A random access method of a terminal in a mobile communication system including primary and secondary cells operating on multiple carriers according to the present invention includes communicating data after random access in the primary cell, receiving, when the random access is triggered in the secondary cell, information for use in the secondary cell random access from the primary cell, transmitting a preamble in the secondary cell based on the received information, monitoring the primary cell to receive a Random Access Response for the secondary cell, and applying, when the Random Access Response for the secondary cell is received, the information carried in the Random Access Response to the secondary cell in which the preamble has been transmitted.
