Abstract: The embodiments herein discloses a method and a network for handling UEs travelling in predefined/predetermined route. The method includes determining by a network one of at least one parameter and learned mobility patterns of at least one UE. The at least one parameter is determined based on a negotiation with the at least one UE. The at least one parameter includes at least one of a source information, a destination information, a speed, a start time, a guard percentage, and a predefined route of the at least one UE. Further, the method includes sending at least one pair of a tracking area identifier list (TAI'S) and a timing map to the at least one UE based on one of the determined at least one parameter and the learned mobility patterns of the at least one UE.

Abstract: Accordingly, embodiments herein provide a system for managing anti-steering of roaming in a wireless communication network. The system includes a HPLMN, a VPLMN and a UE. The HPLMN obtains a register request message from the VPLMN and derives at least one HPLMN specific security key based on at least one security parameter. Further, the HPLMN protects a preferred PLMN list using the at least one HPLMN specific security key and the security parameter and sends the protected preferred PLMN list to the VPLMN along with necessary security information. Further, the VPLMN is configured to receive the protected preferred PLMN list from the HPLMN and send a message including the protected preferred PLMN list to the UE. The message mandates the VPLMN to send the preferred PLMN list transparently to the UE. Further, the UE is configured to receive the message including the preferred PLMN list from the VPLMN.

The method includes detecting an intersystem change from an S1 mode to one of an A/Gb mode and an Iu mode, detecting that a routing area update (RAU) has failed detecting that a successful generic location updating procedure has not been performed since the detected intersystem change, and triggering an MM specific procedure based on detecting that the RAU has failed and the successful generic location updating procedure has not been performed. The MM specific procedure corresponds to a location area update (LAU).

Abstract: A method of managing evolved universal mobile telecommunication system terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) capability of a user equipment (UE) is provided that includes switching from a first radio access technology (RAT) to a second RAT if the first RAT fails to provide circuit switched (CS) services to the UE, the first RAT and the second RAT being associated with a first public landline mobile network (PLMN). The UE establishes a CS call session with the second RAT. In the meanwhile, the UE receives a network handover command to move to a second PLMN. The UE may also perform a movement from the first PLMN to the second PLMN and connect with a third RAT associated with the second PLMN to continue the CS call session. The UE enables the E-UTRAN capability after moving to the second PLMN to connect with a fourth RAT available in the second PLMN.
