    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, a method for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE), may include receiving a configuration indicating a feedback transmission scheme for reporting feedback associated with an error type. The UE may also detect an error in receiving a downlink transmission from a base station, where the detected error is of the error type. Then, the UE may select the feedback transmission scheme for transmitting a negative acknowledgement message for the downlink transmission based at least in part on the detected error being of the error type and the configuration. The UE may also transmit, to the base station, the negative acknowledgement message for the downlink transmission using the selected feedback transmission scheme.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes deferring transmission of a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook until a target PUCCH, due to potential collision of a first initial semi-persistently scheduled (SPS) physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) with a first downlink symbol. The first HARQ codebook has a physical layer (L1) high priority. The method also includes scheduling transmission of a second HARQ codebook at the target PUCCH, the second HARQ codebook having a physical layer (L1) low priority. The method further includes multiplexing the first HARQ codebook and the second HARQ codebook to generate a combined HARQ codebook for transmission in the target PUCCH.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) deferral for PUCCH groups are disclosed herein. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a downlink configuration of a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) group that configures a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback payload corresponding to a first semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) downlink packet for deferral and does not configure a second HARQ feedback payload corresponding to a second SPS downlink packet for deferral. The UE also may delay transmission of at least the first HARQ feedback payload based on different configurations for HARQ feedback deferral between the first SPS downlink packet and the second SPS downlink packet.
