In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify one or more time slots in which a first communication on a multi-slot physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) overlaps with a second communication on another PUCCH. The UE may transmit, for each time slot of the one or more time slots, the first communication or the second communication based at least in part on a first priority assigned to the multi-slot PUCCH and a second priority assigned to the other PUCCH. Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may construct, for adjusted fractally enhanced kernel (FRANK) polar coding, encoding code for encoding data of an ultra-reliable low latency (URLLC) communication, wherein an information bit assignment to an information bit set associated with the encoding code is performed based at least in part on an adjusted dimensionality factor, wherein the encoding code is all-stage FRANK polar code or partial-stage FRANK polar code, and wherein the encoding code is constructed for code block shortening or code block puncturing. In some aspects, the user equipment may transmit the URLLC communication encoded using the encoding code based at least in part on the information bit assignment to the information bit set. Abstract: Adjacent channel leakage-power ratio (ACLR) can be reduced at a transmitter of a device. A modulated signal can be mapped into a plurality of tone sets in a frequency domain, wherein the plurality of tone sets include a first, a second, and a third set of tones. The first and the third set of tones can be converted in the frequency domain to a fourth and a fifth set of tones, respectively, in a time domain. A zero padding of one or more symbols associated with the fourth and the fifth set of tones can be performed to output a sixth and a seventh set of tones, respectively. The sixth and the seventh set of tones can be converted to an eighth and a ninth set of tones, respectively, in the frequency domain. The eighth and the ninth set of tones can be processed for transmitting to another wireless device.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to methods and apparatus of time-domain multiplexing (TDM) for reference signals (RS) and data using a modified cyclic prefix. A reference signal (RS) and data are multiplexed either in a single symbol or in two time consecutive symbols that respectively including the RS and data. The cyclic prefix (CP) is added to the single symbol using a portion of the RS or to a first symbol of the two time consecutive symbols using a portion of the RS. The CP may be copied from the RS or the end of the symbol, but not the data, in a manner that affords a virtual Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) of the RS and data before discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spreading is performed in a transceiver to provide lower peak to average power ratios and no Inter-symbol interference.

In an exemplary method, a base station assigns, from a first codebook of N short code sequences of length K, a subset of the short code sequences to a number of user equipments (UEs); receives a signal including uplink data or control signals from two or more of the UEs, wherein a first uplink data or control signal is sent using a first subsequence of one of the assigned short code sequences, and a second uplink data or control signal is sent using a second subsequence of one of the assigned short code sequences or using one of the assigned short code sequences; and decodes each uplink data or control signal in the signal based on the assigned short code sequences and subsequences of the assigned the short code sequences.
