Abstract: Aspects relate to sending a transmission control indicator (TCI) state activation in a multiple transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) transmission system having multiple component carriers. A component carrier (CC) list of component carrier identifiers (IDs) may be configured to either exclude or include a select CC ID prior to sending a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state activation within control signaling to at least one user equipment (UE) in the RAN. Depending on whether the CC ID is excluded or included in the CC list, the receiving UEs in the system may be configured to apply a TCI state activation for the CC ID either included or excluded in the CC list, or not apply any TCI state to any CC ID by ignoring the control signaling.

A transmitting device may encode, at a layer two (L2) layer of the transmitting device, a set of service data units (SDUs) according to a set of network coding parameters to obtain a first set of protocol data units (PDUs). Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a capability report to a base station indicating a triggering offset. The base station may configure the UE with one or more channel state information (CSI) measurement resources and send downlink control information (DCI) that triggers an aperiodic CSI report for some of the CSI measurement resources. The UE may report CSI by measuring the CSI resources after the triggering offset. In some cases, CSI reporting related to the different codebook types (e. g., Type I, Type II) may be modified, where after identifying a type of codebook and determining which type of codebook to process (e. g., based on a number of CSI processing units), the UE may identify a priority associated with different CSI reports. The UE may be configured with various parameters that relax or modify the processing of Type II CSI reports.

In some aspects, a base station (BS) may configure a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) component of a message B (msgB) communication to include a first portion of the signaling information for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback associated with the msgB communication and the signaling information for HARQ combining of msgB. The BS may configure a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) component of the msgB communication to include a second portion of the signaling information for PUCCH and msgB HARQ combining. The distributed mapping for the signaling information to the PDCCH and PDSCH components of msgB can be indicated by system information, RRC signaling, or hard coded in specifications. The BS may transmit the msgB communication to one or more UEs. Numerous other aspects are provided.
