Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and base station may be configured to implement interleaving enhancement during an aggregated monitoring occasion. In some aspects, the UE may receive paging occasion configuration indicating repetition of a first paging physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasion by identifying a second paging PDCCH monitoring occasion. Further, the UE may decode, based on the paging occasion configuration, signals received on at least one of resources for the first paging PDCCH monitoring occasion or resources for the second paging PDCCH monitoring occasion.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a set of aggregation levels for a set of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates within a search space. The UE may decode a first subset of PDCCH candidates, of the set of PDCCH candidates, that are each aggregated within a single PDCCH monitoring occasion, and a second subset of PDCCH candidates, of the set of PDCCH candidates, that are each aggregated across multiple PDCCH monitoring occasions. Abstract: A user equipment may be configured to perform UE indication to temporarily suspend report occasions. In some aspects, the user equipment may receive, from a base station, out-of-cell reporting configuration including an out-of-cell reporting parameter for reporting layer one (L1) channel information for an out-of-cell beam. Further, the user equipment may send, to the base station for beam selection in consideration of simultaneous access to another base station based on the out-of-cell reporting parameter, the L1 channel information for the out-of-cell beam.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for adjusting the density and/or number of random access channel (RACH) occasion for one or subset of synchronization signal block (SSB) beams from the plurality of available SSB beams. To this end, features of the present disclosure utilize a beam-specific bit-field that is transmitted by the base station to the user equipment (UE) that may indicate RACH occasion density for a SSB beam or a subset of SSB beams. In some aspects, the time and frequency resources for RACH occasion with beam-specific alternative density may be identified via the resources for general RACH occasions. Based on the adjusted RACH occasion density, the UE may select one or time and frequency resources to initiate access with the base station.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may perform a contention-free random access (CFRA) procedure to establish a connection. The base station may transmit control signaling indicating a configuration for a first message of the CFRA including a preamble. The UE may transmit the first message in accordance with the configuration. The preamble of the first message may indicate a request for the base station to use repetition to transmit downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a second message of the CFRA procedure. In some examples, the UE may transmit the first message based on determining that one or more measurement values satisfy one or more thresholds. In response to the request, the base station may transmit one or more repetitions of the DCI and may transmit the second message of the CFRA procedure in accordance with the DCI.

For example, the UE may transmit the scheduled data, receive the scheduled data, or both in accordance with the one or more waveforms indicated in the additional control signaling.

One or more parameters associated with communications with a base station over a time duration, may be determined by a user equipment. The user equipment may determine, based on the one or more parameters, a tone pattern for a reference signal for use in communications with the base station over a future time duration. The user equipment may then transmit the tone pattern to the base station. The user equipment may then receive the reference signal from the base station, over the tone patterns.
