    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms for sidelink beamforming alignment over a set of resources based on a deterministic sequence in a wireless communication system. In aspects, an sidelink initiator user equipment (UE) may initiate a beamforming alignment procedure with a responder UE over a the sidelink. The initiator UE may define a set of subchannels specified by a deterministic sequence. The set of subchannels may be subchannels over which the initiator UE may perform reception beam sweeping. The deterministic sequence may be anchored to a direct frame number (DFN) of the sidelink frame without initial sensing, and may be determined via a sequence index, as a function of sidelink UE identification ID(s), or a combination thereof. In this manner, the number of bits for indicating the deterministic sequence to the responder UE may be reasonable, manageable, and/or moderate.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently identifying resources for transmitting one or more sidelink synchronization signal blocks (S-SSBs) in the shared spectrum or efficiently beam sweeping multiple S-SSBs in the shared spectrum. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an S-SSB in a sidelink bandwidth part (BWP) in the shared spectrum such that a lower edge of the S-SSB is aligned with or offset from a lower edge of the sidelink BWP. In another aspect, a UE may beam sweep S-SSBs in one or more S-SSB bursts in a S-SSB period to improve the chances that another UE may receive the S-SSBs. In yet another aspect, resources allocated for S-SSB transmissions may facilitate flexible S-SSB transmissions while minimizing gaps to prevent other UEs from incorrectly determining that a sidelink BWP in a shared spectrum is clear for transmission.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first wireless communication device may receive a configuration associated with reporting delta channel state information (CSI). The first wireless communication device may compute the delta CSI based at least in part on the configuration, the delta CSI indicating a difference between first CSI associated with a first connection and second CSI associated with a second connection, the first connection being between the first wireless communication device and a base station and the second connection being between the first wireless communication device and a second wireless communication device. The first wireless communication device may transmit, based at least in part on the configuration, a CSI report including an indication of the delta CSI and at least one of an indication of the first CSI or an indication of the second CSI.
