    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for signaling image information and to a decoding method using same. The method for signaling image information according to the present invention comprises: a step of performing inter-prediction for a current picture; and a step of signaling information including the result of said inter-prediction and reference picture information indicating reference pictures usable in said inter prediction, wherein said reference picture information contains pieces of picture order count (POC) information of said usable reference pictures. The POC information of said usable reference pictures in said reference picture information is configured such that POCs for the pictures existing before said current picture in terms of a POC sequence are located at the front, and POCs for the pictures existing after said current picture in terms of a POC sequence are located following the POCs located at the front.

    Abstract: An image decoding method includes: deriving an L0 motion vector and a L1 motion vector of the current block; deriving prediction samples of the current block based on the L0 motion vector and the L1 motion vector; and generating reconstructed samples of the current block based on the prediction samples. Deriving the prediction samples includes applying bi-directional optical flow (BDOF) to the current block based on whether the condition for applying BDOF to the current block is satisfied, and the application condition of the BDOF includes a condition whereby the values of L0 luma weighted prediction flag information and L1 luma weighted prediction flag information are both zero, where the a value of each of the L0 luma weighted prediction flag information and L1 luma weighted prediction flag information being 0 represents that a weight factor for each of a L0 and L1 prediction luma components does not exist, respectively.

    Abstract: A decoding method performed by a decoding device, according to the present document, may comprise the steps of: acquiring, from a bitstream, at least one of a combined inter-picture merge and intra-picture prediction (CIIP) enable flag and a coding unit (CU) skip flag indicating whether a skip mode is applied to a current block; acquiring, from the bitstream, a regular merge flag on the basis that a condition based on the current block size, and at least one of a condition based on the CIIP enable flag and a condition based on the CU skip flag are satisfied; generating prediction samples of the current block on the basis of the regular merge flag; and generating restoration samples on the basis of the prediction samples.
