One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for receiving EPDCCH by an MTC device. The method comprises: a step for determining a first search space and a second search space for receiving EPDCCH on a first subframe and a second subframe, respectively, from among N-number of subframes, if a bundle of EPDCCHs in which the same EPDCCH is repeated on the N-number of subframes should be received, wherein each of the first and second search spaces is determined on the basis of the number of EPDCCH candidates, and determined by any one of a first case, a second case and a third case classified on the basis of a DCI format and whether a CP being used is a normal CP or an extended CP; and a step for decoding the EPDCCH in the second search space if the cases for determining the first search space and the second search space are the same.

A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for performing a cell search procedure or a cell discovery procedure in which a discovery signal is transmitted to a resource element determined in consideration of interference between adjacent cells. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a discovery signal generated by a particular small cell; and searching for the particular small cell on the basis of the discovery signal, wherein the position of the resource element to which the discovery signal is transmitted may be changed according to time.

In one aspect, the present specification discloses a transmission/reception method in a machine type communication (MTC) apparatus. The transmission/reception method for the MTC apparatus may comprise the steps of: receiving information about the specific number of a bundle of downlink control channels which are receivable on a plurality of downlink subframes; and determining the location of the downlink subframe in which the specific-number bundle of downlink control channels can finish reception in accordance with time division duplex (TDD) uplink/downlink setting. Here, when the reception about the bundle of downlink control channels is not finished at the location of the determined downlink subframe, it can be assumed that the reception of the bundle of downlink control channels will continue up to the location of the fastest downlink subframe in which the specific-number bundle of downlink control channels can finish reception among the subframes according to the TDD method.

An apparatus and method for operation of an apparatus in a wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus may be a terminal, a chipset, or a base station. A terminal receives, from a base station, a configuration of a frequency band in which a reference signal is to be measured, and measures the reference signal in the corresponding frequency band. In this step, a case may occur in which the reference signal cannot be measured in the entire frequency band that has been received as a configuration. In this case, the terminal distinguishes between a case in which the reference signal can be measured in the entire frequency band that has been received as a configuration and a case in which it cannot, and reports independent channel state information to the base station.

The present disclosure proposes various methods for improving coverage. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, when an unavailable resource exists in a resource set configured for repeated transmission of a physical uplink channel, the UE may determine a resource capable of actually performing repeated transmission of a physical uplink channel within the resource set. According to another embodiment of the present disclosure, when the terminal receives the TPC command within the resource corresponding to the DMRS bundle, the terminal may perform power control based on the TPC command after the resource.
