Inferencing may, reasonably, be expected to be a mainstream application of 6G wireless networks. Agile, robust and accurate inferencing is important for the success of AI applications.     Abstract: A number K of N sub-channels that are defined by a code and that have associated reliabilities for input bits at N input bit positions, are to be selected to carry bits that are to be encoded. A localization area that includes multiple sub-channels and is located below fewer than K of the N sub-channels in a partial order of the N sub-channels is determined based on one or more coding parameters. The fewer than K sub-channels of the N sub-channels above the localization area in the partial order are selected, and a number of sub-channels from those in the localization area are also selected. The selected fewer than K sub-channels and the number of sub-channels selected from those in the localization area together include K sub-channels to carry the bits that are to be encoded.

    Abstract: The disclosed structures and methods are directed to transmission and reception of a radio-frequency (RF) wave. An antenna comprises a stack-up structure having a first control layer, a second control layer, a first and a second parallel-plate waveguides, and a plurality of through vias. The antenna further comprises a first central port and a second central port being configured to radiate RF wave into the two parallel-plate waveguides independently; vertical-polarization peripheral radiating elements integrated with the first control layer and configured to radiate RF wave in vertical polarization; and horizontal-polarization peripheral radiating elements integrated with the second control layer and configured to radiate RF wave in horizontal polarization. Each vertical-polarization peripheral radiating element is collocated with one of the horizontal-polarization peripheral radiating element such that they cross each other. A central port for transmission of RF wave into the stack-up structure of the antenna is also provided.

    Abstract: An apparatus for adapting hyper cells in response to changing conditions of a cellular network is disclosed. During operation, the apparatus collects data regarding network conditions of the cellular network. In accordance with the collected network condition data, the apparatus changes an association of a transmit point from a second cell ID of a second hyper cell to a first cell ID of a first hyper cell. Virtual data channels, broadcast common control channel and virtual dedicated control channel, transmit point optimization, UE-centric channel sounding and measurement, and single frequency network synchronization are also disclosed.
