Abstract:
An authentication bank for a wireless communication system is disclosed. The authentication bank comprises a plurality of physical identification modules. A physical identification module may include one or more memory, processors, programs, and computer readable media storing subscriber identity module and authentication information. At least one of the one or more programs stored in the memory may comprise instructions executable by at least one of the one or more processors. The executable instructions may cause the one or more processors to receive a request, from an authentication server, for associating the subscriber identity module (SIM) with a foreign wireless communication client or an extension unit, retrieve subscriber identity information and authentication information for the foreign wireless communication client or the extension unit from the SIM, and send the subscriber identity information and the authentication information to the authentication server.
Abstract:
A measuring device is disclosed for measuring an ultra low gas flow, working by the principle of liquid displacement. In at least one embodiment, the measuring device includes at least one cell including a gas inflow device, a gas compartment device with a predefined inner geometric physical volume and active volume. In at least one embodiment, the gas compartment device includes one gas accumulating end and one lifting end, the gas compartment device also defining a geometric gas collecting point inside of the gas compartment device, during a gas filling cycle, the geometric gas collecting point moving further and further from the gas accumulating end to the lifting end during the gas filling cycle. Further, in at least one embodiment the cell includes a holding device having a pivoting element enabling the gas compartment device to pivot upwards when the geometric gas collecting point is positioned at the lifting end and the lifting force is larger than the down-pressing force at the lifting end, thereby releasing all of the accumulated gas in the gas compartment device, and then pivoting back to its initial standby position for new receipt and storage of gas during another gas filling cycle until next releasing sequence. Finally, in at least one embodiment, the cell also includes a sensor provided to generate a signal and/or change the state of a signal when the gas compartment device is not in its initial standby position, wherein the gas storing capacity of the inside of the gas compartment device is larger at the gas accumulating end than at the lifting end and wherein the gas accumulating end has a higher vertical position than the lifting end at the initial standby position.
Abstract:
2-Aminopyrimidine compounds are described, which are useful as H4 receptor modulators. Such compounds may be used in pharmaceutical compositions and methods for the treatment of disease states, disorders, and conditions mediated by H4 receptor activity, such as allergy, asthma, autoimmune diseases, and pruritus.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for separation of diols from a mixture comprising diols and polyols, for example, from a reaction mixture obtained from hydrogenolysis of sorbitol. In particular, the present invention relates to separation of diols from the mixture using a combination of a wiped-film evaporator and a molecular evaporator to obtain diols in a high yield.
Abstract:
A method for testing the safety automation logic used in a manufacturing cell includes recording control signals of a safety-related component such as an E-Stop, light curtain, gate lock, or a safety mat using a host machine, and then disconnecting the component from the host machine. The recorded test signals are transmitted to an automation controller in accordance with a test scenario from a test scenario generator module (TSGM) to emulate operation of the component. The automation logic may be certified using the playback of the recorded test signals. A system for testing the safety automation logic includes the controller, host machine, and TSGM. The host machine records the control signals and plays back the test signals on the controller to emulate operation of the component. The automation control logic may be certified using the test signals, e.g., by comparing these to the test specification or standard.
Abstract:
A system to process unstructured data is provided. An example system to process unstructured data comprises a receiver to access a source of unstructured data, an entity extractor to extract entity instances from the source of unstructured data and organize the extracted entity instances into an entity instance table, a pattern generator to generate a pattern comprising a key entity and one or more non-key entities associated with the key entity based on the entity instance table, and a dataset generator to generate a two-dimensional table based on the pattern and the entity instance table.
Abstract:
The present invention includes methods for preparing resveratrol, resveratrol esters and substituted and unsubstituted stilbenes of the formula given below; where each Y is —O or halogen, each Z is —O or halogen, each n and each m is independently the value of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, each A and each B is independently selected from Pn, R or absent, each V and each W is independently selected from Pn, straight or branched alkyl of from 2 to 6 carbon atoms and cycloalkyl of from 3 to 8 carbon atoms, alkoxy, phenyl, benzyl or halogen, R is independently selected from the group comprising alkyl with at least one carbon atom, aryl and aralkyl, Pn is an alcohol protecting group and diastereoisomers of the foregoing. The compounds are made from a multi-step process including a N-heterocyclic carbene-type ligand coupling in the presence of a base with benzyol halide and styrene coupling partners. These compounds show increased stability for use in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a slurry reactor system suitable for continuous multiphase reaction/separation, as well as a method for continuous reaction/separation of a multiphase reaction in a slurry reactor system. The system includes a reaction vessel, a separation device that includes a separation chamber and a filter element, and an agitation device. The filter element includes a filter, which is in contact with a slurry in the reaction vessel and on the surface of which a solid material from the slurry forms a filter cake in the reaction vessel. The agitation device generates a flow of the slurry in the reaction vessel. A flux of a liquid product from the slurry in the reaction vessel across the filter and into the separation chamber is maintained at a substantially constant level for long term continuous reaction/separation without interruption.
