    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for using automatic gain control symbols to indicate a sidelink mini-slot. A method performed by a transmitting user equipment includes transmitting, during a first time portion of a symbol within a slot, a first beam associated with a first receiving user equipment. The first time portion of the symbol is configured to indicate that the first receiving user equipment will receive another transmission from the transmitting user equipment during a first mini-slot within the slot associated with the first time portion. The method may further include transmitting, during a second time portion of the symbol within the slot, a second beam associated with a second receiving user equipment. The second time portion of the symbol is configured to indicate that the second receiving user equipment will receive another transmission from the transmitting user equipment during a second mini-slot within the slot.

A wireless device may transmit first control signaling indicating a capability of the wireless device to operate in a plurality of modes of operation.     Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a base station to indicate use of a mini-slot based resource allocation in sidelink communications between a Tx UE and a Rx UE. Initially, the base station configures control information indicating a sidelink data resource for a mini-slot, and transmits the control information to a Tx UE. After the Tx UE receives the control information, the Tx UE transmits sidelink data in the sidelink data resource to a Rx UE. Similarly, the Rx UE receives the control information from either the Tx UE or the base station, and the Rx UE receives the sidelink data in the sidelink data resource from the Tx UE. Accordingly, the base station may schedule the Tx UE and Rx UE to communicate sidelink data in mini-slots rather than slots, thereby reducing scheduling latency, increasing the number of available resources, and achieving more flexibility in sidelink communications.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring timing advances for uplink communications resources. A method for wireless communications by a user equipment includes receiving, from a base station, signaling that configures a first timing advance and a second timing advance. The first timing advance is configured to be used by the user equipment when transmitting an uplink communication in a half-duplex resource, and the second timing advance is configured to be used by the user equipment when transmitting an uplink communication in a full-duplex resource. The method may further include transmitting, to the base station, a first uplink communication within a first resource using one of the first timing advance or the second timing advance based on whether the first resource comprises a half-duplex resource or a full duplex resource.
