    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a first set of parameters based at least in part on a first reference signal received from a first transmit receive point (TRP) and a second set of parameters based at least in part on a second reference signal received from a second TRP; determine a common parameter using the first set of parameters and the second set of parameters; and perform a tracking loop operation using the common parameter or the first set of parameters and the second set of parameters, wherein the tracking loop operation comprises at least one of a frequency tracking loop operation or a time tracking loop operation.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the disclosure relate to techniques and apparatus for improving random access for SRS switching in a wireless network. Prior to transmitting a SRS, a UE may interrupt communication on a first carrier to switch from the first carrier to a second carrier to transmit a PRACH. To reduce interruption to the first carrier, the UE may use the beginning symbol(s) of a UpPTS on the second carrier to transmit the PRACH. In addition, to reduce interruption to the first carrier, the UE may monitor for another PDCCH order before transmitting another PRACH. Further, aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for jointly triggering SRS transmissions and performing power control for SRS transmissions. A BS may trigger SRS transmissions from multiple UEs, trigger SRS transmissions from multiple carriers from the same UE at the same time and/or perform power control separately for each carrier.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for rate-matching for a transmission by multiple transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states, such as a multiple transmission reception point (multi-TRP) transmission. A method by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving one downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a downlink transmission associated with multiple transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The UE determines whether the downlink transmission is associated with one rate matching or is associated with a separate rate matching for each of the multiple TCI states. The UE derate matches the downlink transmission based on the determination.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support group-based acknowledgment feedback techniques. Two or more different groups of downlink transmissions may each have an associated transport block (TB) level or code block group (CBG) level group-based acknowledgment feedback, and a base station may transmit downlink control information to a UE that indicates one or more parameters that are used to determine which downlink transmissions are to be reported in the group-based feedback at a TB level, CBG level, or combinations thereof. Based on the parameters in the downlink control information, the UE may determine the feedback to be reported, and a timing for when to transmit the feedback to the base station.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for multiple downlink control information (DCI) message handling for multiple control resource set (CORESET) groups. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may provide separate or joint feedback for data messages received from different CORESET groups. In some examples, the UE may be configured with code block group (CBG)-based transmissions for a component carrier (CC) or a CORESET group in a CC. If implementing a dynamic codebook, the UE may track separate transport block (TB)-based and CBG-based downlink assignment indexes (DAIs) for each CORESET group or may track joint TB-based and CBG-based DAIs across the set of CORESET groups to handle the CBG configuration. Additionally, or alternatively, if implementing a semi-static codebook, the UE may apply skipping rules across the set of CORESET groups or separately for each CORESET group to reduce signaling overhead.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to determining a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state for receiving a multi-transmission point (TRP) communication. A receiving device receives a configuration message indicating a lowest control resource set identifier (CORESET ID) for receiving one or more downlink control information (DCI) and determines whether a state of the receiving device is within a scheduling threshold duration for decoding DCI. The receiving device then determines a TCI state for receiving data based on a TCI state associated with the lowest CORESET ID if the state of the receiving device is within the scheduling threshold duration, wherein the TCI state associated with the lowest CORESET ID indicates one or more sets of quasi co-location (QCL) parameters. The receiving device then receives the data from one or more transmission points (TRPs) based on the one or more sets of QCL parameters.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may identify, for an initial slot of a periodic interval, a number of symbols included in the initial slot and a length of cyclic prefixes used for the symbols included in the initial slot based on a subcarrier spacing that is configured for wireless communication. The length of a first set of cyclic prefixes may be based on a length of a cyclic prefix calculated for an initial symbol of the initial slot at the configured subcarrier spacing. The wireless device may perform communications based on the determined number of symbols and length of cyclic prefixes included in the initial slot. Performing communications may include allocating resources based on a length of the cyclic prefixes used for the symbols included in the initial slot.
