According to the invention the transverse sealing unit (24a-b) is driveably mounted on the transverse sealing station base (20a-b) in a displacement movement (38a-b) that is at least substantially parallel to the transport direction (16a-b).
Abstract:
An apparatus for sealing an open end of a package comprises a first longitudinally extending sealing jaw, bearing mounted on a first eccentric shaft rotatable around a first rotational axis, and a second longitudinally extending sealing jaw, bearing mounted on a second eccentric shaft rotatable around a second rotational axis, the second sealing jaw being parallel with the first sealing jaw. At least one motor drives rotation around the first and second rotational axis in opposite directions, wherein the first and the second sealing jaws oppose each other, and are allowed to oscillate between sealing and open positions by moving towards and away from each other. A first and second transversally extending guiding bar cooperate with the first and second eccentric shaft via guiding pins running in guiding grooves, such that transverse play between the first and the second eccentric shaft and the first and second sealing jaw is allowed.
Abstract:
A packaging machine comprising a transversal sealing unit (20) of bags, substantially consisting of a plate support (21) which comprises a series of additional supports and kinematic organs for the horizontal and vertical activation of grippers (22, 23), one internal and the other external, for the sealing and cutting of each bag, said machine comprising motors (25, 26), mounted on a fixed support (24), which cause the vertical movement of a main carriage (29) and of a gripper carriage (30) by means respectively of a screw shaft (27) and a screw shaft (28), said main carriage (29) supporting two pairs of horizontal and sliding parallel arms (33, 34), the internal first of which control the horizontal movement of the internal grippers (22) and the second control the horizontal movement of the external grippers (23), while the vertical movement of the grippers to follow the moving bag is achieved by the vertical movement of the main carriage (29).
Abstract:
In a lateral sealing mechanism, a cylindrical film is sandwiched and ultrasonic sealing is performed along a direction that intersects a conveying direction while a first horn and a first anvil, and a second horn and a second anvil rotate. The first horn is mounted on a first rotating body in a state of being coupled to a plurality of vibrating elements. The second horn is mounted on the second rotating body in a state coupled to a plurality of vibrating elements. A securing member grips a horn unit, which includes the horns and the plurality of vibrating elements, on the forward and rearward sides in the direction of rotation of the horn assembly in the vicinity of the node of ultrasonic vibration and secures the horn unit to the first rotating body and the second rotating body, respectively.
Abstract:
A dispensing and sealing system generally includes a film-feed assembly with a support mechanism for a supply of film and a film-drive mechanism to advance the film along a path, a dispenser with an outlet port for dispensing fluid into the film, and a transverse seal mechanism for forming a seal in the film transversely of the path. A calendering device and a movable structure for the support mechanism are also described.
Abstract:
An assembly for packaging products comprising at least one line for supplying the products to be packaged, at least one dispenser of covering sheets, a plurality of handling devices for juxtaposing a sheet on a respective product, and at least one output line for the packaged products. The handling devices comprise: at least one movable gripper; at least one pusher; at least one pair of clamping jaws for the forced juxtaposition of mutually opposite flaps of the at least one sheet; at least one abutment for folding the portions of the juxtaposed flaps; at least one contoured clamping plate.
Abstract:
A bag making and packaging machine includes a cutter fixed to a sealing member that cuts a laterally sealed portion of a film using pressure force with which a pair of sealing members sandwiches the film during lateral sealing. The bag making and packaging machine further includes a pair of sealing jaws, a knife, a pressurization mechanism, and a pressurization mechanism control part. The knife fixed to one sealing jaw, fusion-cuts the laterally sealed portion of the film. The pressurization mechanism exerts pressure force on one sealing jaw towards the other sealing jaw so that the pair of sealing jaws sandwiches and laterally seals the film therebetween, and the knife comes into contact with a laterally sealed portion and fusion-cuts the laterally sealed portion. The pressurization mechanism control part causes the pressurization mechanism to cease exerting pressure force based on error information pertaining to the film or the goods.
Abstract:
A cutting, or crimping, apparatus having first and second opposed jaw members which are mounted on a frame and are movable relative to each other from a first axial position to a second axial position along an axis so as to respectively cut, or crimp, wrapping material extending between adjacent articles wherein at least one of the jaw members is rotatably mounted to the frame such that it is rotatable from a first rotational position to a second rotational position, in the first rotational position the jaw members are movable relative to each other along a first said axis and in the second rotational position the jaw members are movable relative to each other along a second said axis that is inclined relative to the first axis.
