Abstract:
To make it possible to easily and accurately form a cutout indicative of the presence of a code in printed matter. An apparatus according to the present invention includes a unit configured to determine a position of attachment of a code including voice information in an image and an attaching unit configured to attach a mark in a position based on the determined position of code attachment in the image, wherein the mark indicates a position to be cut out from a sheet, on a side of which the image and the attached mark are to be printed and a cutout caused by the cutting indicates a position of code attachment.
Abstract:
Certain embodiments provide an apparatus for integrating an indicator flag into an item. The apparatus includes an upper portion and a base. The upper portion includes a cutting blade and a first attachment. The cutting blade is operable to cut the indicator flag into the item. The base includes a second attachment and one or more cutting grooves. The second attachment is operable to couple with the first attachment such that upper portion is movable towards the base. The one or more cutting grooves are operable to mate with the cutting blade when the upper portion is depressed and the upper portion moves towards the base.
Abstract:
A punching apparatus for a sheet media comprises a base and a handle actuator. The base comprises a first impression head that defines a first image-forming pattern and a second impression head that defines a second image-forming pattern. The base further comprises a first impression head protrusion having a first height and a second impression head protrusion having a second height. The handle actuator hingedly couples to the base. The handle actuator moves between a first position, a second position, and a third position. A limiting member contacts the first impression head protrusion when the handle actuator is moved to the second position, and the first impression head moves to a sheet media forming position. The limiting member contacts the second impression head protrusion when the handle moves to the third handle position, and the first and the second impression heads move to the sheet media forming position.
Abstract:
A perforation apparatus for use with cable jackets and related systems and methods thereof is provided. The tool includes a pliers assembly having at least a first jaw member positioned opposing a second jaw member, wherein relative movement of the first and second jaw members is controlled with at least a first handle and a second handle. A first knife edge is on the first jaw member and a second knife edge is on the second jaw member. Each of the first and second knife edges are oriented substantially parallel to one another and substantially perpendicular to a length of first and second handles. The first and second knife edges are movable towards one another. A spacing device is connected to the pliers assembly, wherein the spacing device controls a closing distance between the first knife edge and the second knife edge.
Abstract:
A stud punch tool includes a lower frame, an upper handle pivotally attached to the lower frame, and a punching assembly attached to the lower frame and to the upper handle. The lower frame includes a body portion, a pair of ears extending upwardly therefrom, and a head portion and a handle portion extending from the body portion. The upper handle is attached to the ears. The punching assembly is connected to the head portion and is connected to the upper handle proximate to the connection of the upper handle to the ears. The upper handle can be gripped by a user for movement relative to the lower frame to cause the punching assembly to punch a hole in an associated workpiece.
Abstract:
A corner cutter device includes a receptacle having a chamber formed by an outer peripheral wall, and a platform extended from the receptacle to form a front corner area. An anvil plate is disposed on the front corner area of the platform, the receptacle includes two seats, a cover is attached to enclose the chamber of the receptacle, a casing is slidably received in the receptacle and has an arm pivotally attached to the receptacle, a cutter blade is attached to the casing and movable toward the anvil plate to conduct paper cutting operations. A spring member may bias the cutter blade away from the anvil plate after the casing is released or after the cutting operations.
Abstract:
An information flow out preventing punch for easily punching a hole in an address portion and a magnetic recording portion of a direct mail so that a third person cannot read those portions. The punch is small in size and light in weight and can be put into a drawer of a desk. The punch can punch not only paper but also a plastic card. Resources such as postcards after punched can easily be collected. This information flow out preventing punch includes an operation section and a punch blade group consisting of two or more punch blades. The punch blade group is moved by the operation section so as to punch a plurality of holes in a punch object. In the punch blade group, adjacent punch blades of n-th blade and n+1-th blade are in such a proximity that understanding of the information presented on the punch object becomes difficult.
Abstract:
A template includes a mouth defined in a side face of the template for receiving therein an auxiliary tool. A combining device is formed on a periphery defining the mouth for combination with the auxiliary tool and patterns are defined through a periphery of the template. Positioning holes are defined through the periphery of the template to receive therein a pair of magnets. The piece of paper is able to be positioned on top of the template by the two magnets one of which is received in a corresponding one of the positioning holes and the other one of which is on top of the piece of paper to attract the other magnet.
