摘要: A power chuck includes a housing in which there is arranged a drive unit having a traction guide means moveable in the direction of a clamping axis. There, and there are arranged two pairs of mutually diametrically opposite base jaws. The base jaws are guided radially, in the housing substantially perpendicularly to the clamping axis, and the drive unit is adapted to convert the movement of the traction guide means into the movement of the base jaws. According to the invention, it is proposed that the drive unit for each base jaw has a slider which is in engagement with the base jaw and which is moveable with a movement component on a circular path about the clamping axis.

摘要: A test-specimen holder for gripping test specimens to perform material tests in the form of compressive and tensile tests has two grabs coaxially aligned relative to each other and capable of gripping the test specimen. The grabs have angled faces on sides facing away from the test specimen gripped between them. Respective hydraulic gripping cylinders are connected to the grabs for shifting same axially and a wedge can engage the angled faces of both grabs. A fluid-operated synchronization cylinder is connected to the wedge for moving the wedge perpendicular to the axis of the grabs into and out of engagement with the angled faces of the grabs. A fluid reservoir is connected through a 4/2 directional control valve with the gripping cylinders for actuating same. An adjustable first pressure-limiting valve and a check valve connected parallel thereto are connected between the 4/2 valve and the synchronization cylinder.

The chuck includes a collar, coupled to the outer chuck body, having a slot with a slot axis angled relative to said chuck axis. An inner chuck body located within the cavity is movable along the chuck axis relative to the collar and the outer chuck body. The inner chuck body includes a bore having a bore axis angled relative to said chuck axis into which the jaw rod is disposed, with the jaw rod being coupled to the collar.

摘要: A chuck assembly which can chuck thin and brittle workpieces that differ widely in size with high accuracy and reliability without warping them. The chuck assembly includes a tubular chuck body having three first cylinders and a plurality of second cylinders arranged along a circumference in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the chuck body at equal angular intervals. The cylinders have pistons adapted to protrude under oil pressure. The three first cylinders are also arranged at equal angular intervals. The chuck assembly further includes a pressure-biasing means for applying, independently of the oil pressure, pressure to the pistons of the first cylinders against a workpiece, so that the piston are less likely to be retracted by the reaction force from the workpiece. That is, this chuck assembly has a self-centering function.
