    摘要: A passive entry system for an vehicle door requires no active operator input to gain entrance to the vehicle. A door module recognizes the signal transmitted by an authorized key fob to identify the operator of the vehicle. The authentication of the operator coupled with the operator touching a sensor on the door to be opened actuates a release actuator that unlatches the selected door. The spring-load provided by the door seal will pop the door open from the closed position. A key cylinder, which can be located substantially anywhere on the door, is coupled mechanically to the release latch for use if the battery is weak and cannot activate the release actuator. An LED signals the state of the opening sequence for the door. The fixed door handle can incorporate a membrane switch or a capacitive sensor to indicate the selection of the door by the operator when touched.

    摘要: The solution according to the invention is based upon the knowledge that the undesirable hysteresis of the force-path function in door locks (1) can be avoided or at least minimised if the (frictional) forces acting during transitions from open positions to closed positions and vice versa are minimised and/or avoided. In this respect, the invention is based upon the starting point of at least reducing (frictional) forces acting in bearings for rotatable components (14, 18, 28) of door locks (1) and/or between surfaces (22, 30) displaceable relative to one another. In this manner, it is attained that forces required for a transition from a closed position to an open position essentially correspond to forces required for a transition from the open position to the closed position.

    摘要: A latch apparatus for a door having a first face and a second face includes a housing adapted for mounting on the first face of the door. The bolt member pivotally mounts to the housing and extends and retracts in and out from the housing and is urged toward an extended position by a return spring. A first push type handle mounts to the housing and retracts the bolt when pushed toward the door. A spindle extends through the door from a second latch pivotally mounted to the second face of the door. The spring back engages the spindle and provides for retracting the bolt upon rotation of the spindle.

    摘要: A paddle handle latch includes a frame which defines a recess, and a peripheral handle which is mounted for pivotal movement in the recess. A retainer is mounted to the frame to define a channel having a latching axis and this retainer is shaped to receive a striker moving along the latching axis and to retain the striker against movement transverse to the latching axis. A catch is pivotably mounted in the retainer to move between an open position and a closed position. A linkage interconnects the paddle handle and the catch such that the paddle handle operates to move the catch between the open and closed positions.

    摘要: In combination with a door hinged at one edge within a door jamb with a latch assembly mounted upon a closing edge and a strike on the jamb in registry with the latch assembly which comprises a latch within a housing pivotally mounted upon the door upon a first axis and projecting from the housing and having a lock position receiving the strike and normally biased towards an unlocked position, the strike on closing the door rotating the latch to its locking position, there being a locking aperture upon the latch. A yoke, normally biased towards a locking position and rotatable to an unlocked position is pivotally mounted upon the housing upon a second axis and mounts a latch pin adapted for interlocking registry with the lock aperture when the latch is in locking position. A spring biased reciprocal latch bar has an actuator which is adapted on retraction to retract the yoke to an unlocked position, the latch being free to move to its unlocked position on opening of the door relative to the strike. A manually operated control is mounted upon the housing and connected to the latch bar for retracting it.

    摘要: There is disclosed a lock mechanism that has been designed to take up a minimum amount of space and thus be accommodatable in a relatively shallow structure. Said lock mechanism includes a pivotally mounted latch bolt, a deadlock member associated with said latch bolt, with biasing means urging said deadlock member to a locking position. To control the operation of the deadlock member there is provided a deadlock trigger and a deadlock position lever providing an operational connection between said trigger and the deadlock member. A primary operating lever as provided comprised of a first pivotally mounted arm portion and a second arm portion integral therewith and connected with the latch bolt by a loss motion connection. The pivot axis for said latch bolt, said primary operating lever and said deadlock member are disposed parallel to and adjacent the front plate of the casing structure, thereby enabling the lock mechanism to be accommodated and to function within a shallow casing structure.
