Abstract: A hammock enclosure designed for preferably one or two hammocks can be used in a variety of settings and locales due to a number of features of the enclosure. The hammock enclosure has sides made of a high quality netting to prevent insects from entering the enclosure. Additionally, an adjustable, water proof rain fly is positioned above the enclosure and the bottom of the enclosure also comprises a water proof material. The hammock enclosure is affixed, preferably to two trees, and the hammocks then hung inside. The lines for the hammocks pass through openings which may be cinched close to again prevent water, insects, and the like from entering the enclosure. Alternatively, the hammock enclosure may be secured to the ground via loops, an upper loop(s), and a securement mechanism. This enables the hammock enclosure to be utilized as a traditional ground shelter.

Abstract: An adjustable folding cabana having a frame with legs is disclosed. A seat is supported on said frame. A front support member, a rear support member and an intermediate support member support a cabana fabric roof. The front support member is movable between a rear support position, an intermediate support position and a front support position. A guide rail is attached to the frame beneath said seat which has a front stop, an intermediate stop and a rear stop. Manipulating a control rod causes a cabana fabric hood to be fully extended when the rod is secured in the front stop, to be partially collapsed when the rod is secured in the intermediate stop, and to be fully collapsed when the rod is secured in the rear stop.

Abstract: A float tent can include: a frame having a pool frame portion with a tent frame portion thereof over the pool frame portion; a tent having the tent frame portion, the tent having a closable opening; and a pool having the pool frame portion, the pool having pool sides dimensioned to hold at least 8 inches of water and having a pool base dimension sufficient for a person to lay in the pool without touching pool sides. The tent can include tent walls having an angle that inhibits condensation drip, the angle being with respect to the pool base, such as at least 4.5 degrees. The tent can include a material that is opaque. The float tent can include a heater configured to heat the water to skin temperature of the person. The float tent can include a water circulation pump and filter.

Abstract: A shelter is formed by joining a resilient sleeping pad at its edges to a thin, flexible, waterproof, vapor-breathable shell. The sleeping pad, being the floor of the shelter, eliminates material otherwise used for this purpose. An opening in the shell for the user's face, is edged with a sleeve containing a drawstring for closing the opening to the extent desired. A zippered separation in the shell extends from the opening, to provide easy access into the shelter. A canopy, attached to the shelter, is supported above a user by long, resilient wands attached to the canopy material. Various embodiments are disclosed for combining a canopy with the basic shelter, for supporting the canopy above the user, and for providing entry into the resulting shelter.

Abstract: A new two-sectional tent equipped with detachable air mattress for ideal means of cleaning as well as comfortable sleeping conditions for the occupant(s). The inventive device shall include a base support portion separating the sleeping mattress from the ground. Tent portion shall be secured to ground base by means of a zipper extending upwardly via the outer periphery of the tent portion. An air mattress shall be secured to the inner base portion of the tent structure proper by means of plural or doubled snaps, with each snap defined along the outer periphery of the mattress portion and inner periphery of the base. An air mattress is defined by mechanically- and/or self-inflatable interior air chamber. The air chamber interior consists of numerous support pockets extending along the upper/lower surfaces of the air mattress proper. The air mattress possesses a single air intake/discharge valve. The bedding portion shall consist of a pocket-style light-weight fleece blanket, and shall be attached to the main surface by means of Velcro eliminating the need for sleeping bags for the occupants. The mattress in the base unit, shall incorporate a single air chamber that when inflated along with the mattress will provide ample head/neck support for the occupant(s).
