Abstract:
A displacement arrangement for use in a combination dolly-pallet includes an impelling member movable between first and second positions. A linkage is pivotally connected to the impelling member. When the impelling member moves between the first and second positions, the linkage moves pivotally relative to the impelling member to an extended position.
Abstract:
The present invention provides pallets for use in gravity pallet flow racks and pallet push back racks which resist becoming misaligned and jammed in such racks. This accordingly provides better reliability (reduces down time) and reduces the manual labor which is required to clear jammed pallets from such rack systems. The use of these pallets in gravity pallet flow racks and pallet push back racks does not compromise any of the inherent advantages of such systems. In other words, systems which utilize the pallets of this invention offer highly efficient use of warehouse space and require low maintenance. They are also compatible for use in conjunction with a means for automatically placing, positioning, and/or stacking the pallets in an organized manner in the system and retrieving the pallets which are stored in the system.
Abstract:
A transport item of a body of foamed thermoset material is described having a density that varies across the thickness of the body with the greatest density being proximate an outer surface of the body.
Abstract:
A collapsible container having an expanded storage configuration and a collapsed storage configuration is provided, the collapsible container comprising a floor portion; a ceiling portion opposed to the floor portion; at least one wall portion disposed between the floor portion and the ceiling portion; at least one door portion disposed between the floor portion and the ceiling portion; and at least two posts having a collapsed length configuration and an expanded length configuration, the at least two posts, in the collapsed length configuration, being adapted to interconnect the ceiling portion to the floor portion when the container is in the collapsed configuration and, in the expanded length configuration, being adapted to interconnect the ceiling portion to the floor portion when the container is in the expanded configuration. A collapsible container kit and a method of using the collapsible container is also provided.
Abstract:
A container (1) for transportation and/or storage of items is provided with under-slung lifting formations (8, 9) for aiding lifting of the container, rotatable support members (10, 11) upon which the container may be moved, and/or means (17) for securing like containers positioned in side by side relationship to be releasably secured to one another. The invention enables securing together containers in side by side relationship and moving/lifting the containers together between picking or loading locations. Following loading of the containers with at least some material at the distributed picking/loading locations, the containers may be disengaged and separated for onward transportation in separation.
Abstract:
Pallet box assembly configured as planter box or workman's utility box is disclosed. The pallet box assembly includes a pallet base, two side panels, a front panel, and a rear panel, which are collapsible and reusable. Pallet base has tenon joint parts with locking mechanisms that extend out. Pallet base has an opening extending therethrough for ease of handling by pallet jack or hand truck. The side panels include grooves. Front and rear panels include tenon joint part with locking mechanism. The side panels are identical and interchangeable, the front panel is identical and interchangeable with the rear panel. Each locking mechanism includes a winged bolt threadedly inserted and engaged into the tenon joint part, and a wing which is rotated by about 45 to 135 degrees to engageably and securely attach the corresponding tenon joint part in the corresponding groove, so that the pallet box assembly is securely installed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a platform (10) for use in a logistic system in order to be placed onto the loading surface of a vehicle in a conveying direction A and/or to be taken from the loading surface of a vehicle in a conveying direction A. The platform (10) has dimensions that are substantially adapted to the loading surface of the vehicle. The platform (10) has at least one first platform element (10a) and one second platform element (10b), which can be locked to each other and released from each other. The first platform element (10a) has a locking element (13a) and the second platform element (10b) has a locking receptacle (13b) provided facing the locking element (13a) in such a way that the locking receptacle (13b) of the second platform element (10b) can engage with the locking element (13a) of the first platform element (10a).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a top frame made from a thermoset foam material. The top frame includes a pair of substantially parallel sides and a pair of substantially parallel ends connected to the sides to form a generally rectangular frame structure. The frame structure has an inner layer and outer surface defining a thickness. The thermoset foam material varies in density along the frame structure thickness such that the density of the thermoset foam material is greatest near the frame structure outer surface to form a hard outer shell.
Abstract:
A device for transporting and installing a compressor is provided. The device includes a container serving to receive the compressor, with at least one removable planar side element, as well as a multipart lifting device which may be disassembled into its individual parts for transportation, and may be arranged in the container and after assembling the individual parts is designed such that the compressor may be fastened to the lifting device and may be lifted by means of the lifting device.
Abstract:
A pallet or cart which can be coupled to a similar pallet or cart in a side by side relationship is disclosed. The pallet or cart, at its one or right side, has coupling means at the top and bottom, which cooperate with associated coupling means on the top and bottom of the opposite or left side of an adjacent pallet or cart. The coupling means and associated coupling means can be connected to connect the two pallets or carts together to make them capable of being moved together, and even be lifted together by a standard lift truck or fork lift or a standard pallet jack. The coupling means are also releasable so that, when necessary, each pallet or cart may be used as would be a single pallet or cart. The pallet or cart may have one or more foldable shelves therein.
