摘要: The invention relates to a multi-part universal housing for receiving information technology, measurement technology and communication technology components also with an integrated surge protector for applications under a very wide range of climatic conditions and with a high protection level. The housing consists of a main housing body, wherein a removable housing lid is provided on the front side and a mounting device can be attached on the rear side of the main housing body. The mounting device is furthermore designed as an elongate bracket having two elbowed portions, wherein each elbowed bracket end has at least one fastening recess, and at least two spaced fastening apertures are provided in the bracket region disposed between the elbowed portions, the distance between said apertures corresponding to fastening domes disposed on the rear side of the main housing body.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for sensing lightning-current parameters at installations comprising a plurality of capturing devices and lightning-current diversion paths, in particular for exposed and/or tall buildings, including wind turbines, by using a plurality of sensors on the lightning-current diversion paths to identify a lightning-current event, and comprising subsequent evaluation of the lightning-current event and the effect of the lightning-current event on the particular installation. According to the invention, a lightning-current detection sensor is formed on each of the capturing devices or each lightning-current diversion path, which lightning-current detection sensor provides a yes/no statement concerning a lightning-current event with respect to the particular capturing device or the particular lightning-current diversion path. Furthermore, at least one lightning-current measurement sensor is provided at a central point of the merging of the lightning-current diversion paths toward the ground, which at least one lightning-current measurement sensor detects both surge currents having a duration of less than 5 ms and long-term currents having a duration of more than 5 ms, wherein furthermore the magnitude of the charge of the particular long-term current that has occurred is determined and is used to determine possible effects on the installation.

摘要: The invention relates to an overvoltage protection arrangement for information and telecommunication technology, consisting of a housing with means formed on the housing base for mounting top-hat rails, overvoltage protection elements which can be found in the housing, electric connection means, and at least one circuit board as a wiring support for the overvoltage protection elements. When viewed laterally, the housing is designed approximately in the shape of a T standing on its head and has a beam-shaped main part with a protruding head part, wherein the electric connection means can be accessed and actuated via the upper face of the beam-shaped main part. A first and second circuit board are located on a respective inner face of the lateral walls of the housing in a mutually spaced manner, and the electric connection means in the form of electric connection terminals, connection sockets, and/or plugs for example are arranged in the spacing between the first and second circuit board such that first connection means can be accessed on the horizontal plane of the beam-shaped main part and second connection means can be accessed on the vertical plane of the beam-shaped main part. The flat shape of the circuit board corresponds to the T shape of the housing or approximates the shape of the housing.
